Q: Do you think these would be suitble for washing up? Also how do they compare to washing up gloves for cleaning?

They are not very long so for washing up I think they are too short. I do use them for things like polishing (I am allergic to most chemicals including wax) and for that type of job they work well. They are thinner than "rubber gloves" so for jobs that need a greater sense of touch they work well in my opinion.

Q: Can these be used for working with epoxy resin

Not sure would resin dissolve them?? My knowledge of chemical reactions isn’t good!! Sorry
