I’ve had this easel for a bit over 2 weeks now and I love it so much! It’s very simple and easy to use and looks very nice in my home “studio”. Everything came well packaged.Putting it together was very easy, and as a physically disabled woman I was able to put it together almost entirely by myself. The only thing I actually needed help with was tightening the screws, which I probably could have done myself with the help of an impact gun or drill. One part was a bit hard to do alone since the frame was a bit heavy, but I was able to prop it up on a chair and get it done myself.Using this easel while painting has been so nice, I am able to switch between heights easily and can switch from a sitting down height to a standing up height fairly simply, though I most often use it while sitting down.

I'd been suffering through functional issues with an easel that I purchased 20+ years ago which could not manage my avid return to painting as stress-relief from COVID lockdown. Painting every day after a 15 year hiatus from it, the easel began to refuse to lock canvas holding brackets into place.I was reluctant to purchase something sight unseen/untouched, but local shopping proved fruitless. I needed something that was versatile, lightweight, functional, and affordable. I also HATE having to return anything I do not like. After months of reviewing and debate, I decided to purchase this one. My painting studio is in our basement, but it has a lower ceiling height than standard (7.5'), so I was also worried about working height for this easel.I could not be more happy.I read reviews on this easel expressing frustration with the lack of clear instructions, which offer ONLY diagram assembly (graphic illustrations, nothing written), but between me and my spouse, I figured we could do it.When we opened up the box, we noticed that bolts, knobs and other small pieces were packaged in plastic and labeled with a letter matched to the diagram. So...we laid out the parts and got to work. We made a couple of mistakes early due to confusion about how pieces fit together through our interpretation of the diagram; however, this was quickly corrected. Within 20 minutes, we had it put together.While it's heavier than my old one, I could easily lift it, but I purchased this one for its wheels which make it simple to maneuver. This easel takes up less space than my old one which has a deeper footprint due to its design (triangular base).This new one is highly functional, easy to adjust, allows multiple angles (including flat), and the wood is lovely. It is sturdy and well-crafted. My only complaint is that I had to get used to dealing with the way the slider piece works with the brackets which hold the canvas. Since my old one is not this sophisticated (it was a cheap one...what I could afford at the time), I quickly realized that I simply needed to learn how this one works. And all is well.I highly recommend this easel. It is consistent with what I see educational in painting studios. The price is excellent considering how well-made and functional it is. Makes me feel like a legit painter. ;)

I’m an 70 year old grandmother, 5 ft tall, and I can honestly say this easel was very easy to put together. I did it by myself. Instructions were all in very detailed pictures, so I just lined up all the pieces and they easily screwed together. They even included a screw driver and wrench!That said, it’s a beautiful looking easel. The dark colored wood gives it a high-end look. It holds my art board perfectly, is easy to move (light and the wheels work smoothly). I completed a large charcoal drawing using it with no wobble whatsoever.I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this easel.

The media could not be loaded. I was so excited to get this easel based on the many positive reviews I've seen, and when I got it it was relatively easy to assemble, I didnt need any extra equipment or tools to aid. It does what it says it does, so I'm generally happy with it, however, there are two areas on the lower base where the canvas/Painting stand, and they are chipped, I wish the seller paid more attention to these details before shipping which is why I'm giving less than 5 stars. Also if there only was more screw knops in the mounting frames that hold the canvas in place on both lower and the upper one to level the canvas, then it would've been much better, since I noticed the painting can get off level or even wobbly if not fixed few times already.I have not painted with any heavy pressure on the canvas yet to see how durable the easel is, but it looks sturdy, it doesnt shake or slip on the floor, and it is really easy to move around once you have the wheels on.I may update if anything comes up within 2 weeks of purchase.Btw, there are three mounting frames, but I removed one of them and put it aside.

I love this! i included pictures of each step of the process, it was so easy to put together. it does fold flat and fit under my bed but you have to unscrew two back supports (the ones i put together in the 6th picture) and flip up the top ones to make it fold flat. if thats confusing you'll know what i mean if you put it together.it does everything it advertises and feels pretty sturdy.now i have no excuse not to practice painting :)

For usage, a fantastic easel. But for storage, a joke. You will need to plan to store this under a couch or bed. The wheels don't lock. So when you're trying to stand it up against a wall, it will fall down. I have no floor space to store this, so I have to rearrange other items in my room to make sure there is something heavy to hold it up. The wheels need locking mechanism.
