I bought these for our first camping trip with our 3 year old toddler. I wanted something sturdy with a telescoping capability that would be easily packable too. These fit the bill perfectly. Well priced, easy to use, easy to clean, and the length they reached was a comfortable distance from the fire. I would recommend these to anyone with children. The travel bag was a nice feature also (especially when they're sticky with marshmallows)

These are really cute for camping. They come in a little carrying case and we packed these in in our camper for the kids to use over the fire. For young kids beware that they telescope down they could break if not careful when opening and closing. They’re not super long so not good over a large fire but would work well over a little fire ring.

If you want to roast some mellows and are not picky about the quality of the rod (as long as it is not a stick on the ground) then this is the product for you. Keep in mind when I say flimsy I do not mean they break easy -- I have yet to break any of them -- I just mean its the feel of the product. The carrying case comes in handy as well. Solid product.

Worked great for making s’mores! Also used them to make hotdogs. Easy to clean with a little soap and water. Sturdier than using an old wire hanger like we did back in the day! I was able to sit back in my chair and still reach the fire since they easily expand. Glad I purchased them and I would buy again!

My family loved these! We have fires in the backyard all the time and these were perfect. I love how sturdy it is, but it is also easy to clean. You just slide the stick open and it holds perfectly while you are roasting.

We purchased these for camping. The telescoping/compactness was appealing as we have limited storage space in our camper. They are handy little sticks and stretch long enough so that our kids are not to close to the fire. I’m not sure how long they will last. We have only used them for marshmallows.CON: the metal of the skewer gets very hot, so you don’t want to stick it in your mouth right out of the fire, which is difficult to prevent young children from doing with their marshmallows. It’s requires some vigilance.

These marshmallow cookers are fantastic. They extend to a desired length for cooking. My grandkids use these as well as adults. The carrying case will be used for safe keeping in home and camping trips.

I've used these for two camping trips. I think these are better suited for roasting marshmallows, but gets a bit tough when you wanna do heavier things like hot dogs. It was hard to spin the hot dogs because the weight cause the prongs to spin the opposite direction as I began to twist it. Not terrible for the price though and I like the pouch they come in.
