the only kitchen scale i'll ever buy. easy to use, easy to wipe clean, super accurate. it's lightweight and small enough that you can store it pretty much anywhere in your kitchen. it easily switches back and forth from grams to ounces. the colors are so great. I bought one when i still lived at home with my parents, and i left it with them when i moved out because they used it everyday. when i needed a scale for my own house i didnt think twice about purchasing this same scale again. i use it every day, multiple times a day. i've had this one for probably 2 years and i've never had to change the batteries.

We had just bought a bread machine and the recipes in the instructions suggested the use of a kitchen scale for best results. I also make coffee with freshly roasted beans and noted that coffee experts also suggest weighing out the water and coffee. Thirdly, I have seen that many baking websites use weight of ingredients more and more often. So, I decided to buy this scale based on its high ratings and moderate price. I do see a difference in the results that is positive and leads to more consistent results for all these kitchen procedures. It’s super easy to use, and the tare feature works wonderfully. It comes in a number of different colors and that’s nice for those who care about such things. I have used it daily since receiving it, and wouldn’t hesitate at all to recommend it for anyone serious about cooking. I think it would also be extremely useful for portion control if someone needs to monitor amounts accurately.

Our old food scale finally bit the dust and I was looking for a reasonably priced replacement. (I actually bought this one out of the Amazon warehouse and it arrived looking brand new). This one cost less than my old one and is so much better. Perks: The screen/base is elongated, so you can still see the display, even with a larger bowl on the scale. The auto-shut off is long enough to be useful. My old scale shut-off after 1 minute, this one stays on for 4 minutes, so you don't have to rush if needing to gradually add things. Manual turn-off feature: although the longer auto-shutoff would arguably use slightly more battery, you can manually turn off the scale by holding down the button on the left. Regular batteries. Our old scale used a "button" battery which was expensive and required a special trip to the store. 11 lbs max. Our old scale maxed at 5 lbs which meant that a large or heavy bowl used up quite a bit of the weight limit. The only drawback I can see is that the entire scale is plastic rather than glass or metal. I don't leave mine on the counter, so I was fine with the green plastic in order to get the features I needed for a good price.

Came with dead batteries. Worked once I put in fresh ones. Light plastic, good color.

This scale is perfect for what I wanted it for, which was to know whether my cards with enclosures would require a 1 ounce, 2 ounce, or 3 ounce stamp. I do a lot of mailings, so appreciate no longer having to guess which different stamp or stamps I'll need for given outbound pieces of mail. I also am looking forward to using it when I try a European recipe, which measures dry ingredients in grams, not cups. The scale is neat, with a good design, easy to use. I recommend it!

Love this scale! This is my third kitchen scale. They've all been different styles. I was worried I wouldn't like this one but it is my favorite by far. It zero's out quickly. My other two scales I had to push the tare button multiple times to get it to zero out correctly. This scale is very accurate. I remeasure things because my other scales were so bad and so off that I would have to weigh things over and over again and just take an average. This scale is on point no matter how many times I verify the weight. I love the color. I love that it measures in 1 gram increments, and not 2 like my last scale. It is very easy to use. I love that it comes with regular batteries and not the circle watch batteries. I hate those batteries and they are also dangerous to have around the house if you have kids. If a child swallows one of those circle batteries they could get brain damage. Not worth the risk to use those batteries.

I purchased this scale because my wife dropped and broke our previous analogue scale. I love the simplicity of this one and it's very accurate. It's got two buttons : - The left button turns the unit on and off, and it also acts to reset the counter (tare function). - The right changes the measuring units. The scale runs on 2 x AA batteries, which are included. I love that it comes with a lifetime warranty, although it's built well enough that I hope to never use the warranty. The display is a black and white LED, which is visible in most lighting in my kitchen, but larger bowls that cast dark shadows make it harder to read the display. Overall, I love this scale and will continue to use it multiple times a day!
