I like that these are able to be placed in the dishwasher, because another set I have I must be hand washed because of the handles. All but one knife handle was delivered with big dents in the handles. Not sure how that happened, but the original packaging (before it's put in a box and shipped) is a sealed plastic bag. Check out my photos, and you'll see the difference between what I got, and what is advertised. Wife was disappointed about all the dents, but said she would keep them, so I'm not going to bother returning.The next thing to know about these is that they are SHARP. Like steak knife sharp. They will whiz through any hard butter or cheese with the greatest of ease, but be careful reaching in the drawer for them.They do have a good shape for getting peanut butter or whatever, and spreading. Ideal for that.For about two bucks a knife for these, I wouldn't say it was the greatest deal. If they weren't all damaged, it would be a different story.
