It's important to find your model of bike in review section or measure the distances between two holes!! Because you wont be able to install it if the distances don't match. This stand works perfectly with my Trek 520, the screws came with it were too big so I had to find my own screws. Very easy to adjust the height, no tools required, there was a little latch you push back with your finger to adjust the height anytime. I was really surprised by how easy it was and how sturdy it stays after the quick adjustment. You need a kickstand if your bike doesn't have a stand, it makes life easier and a little less cooler you might argue but definitely easier.

A very good kickstand for my Trek Verve 2. It fit the directly into the mounting plate on the frame and was easy to adjust for height. The hinge is solid and the tip does not slide around on hard surfaces.

For clarity, I work on cars and motorcycles for a living. Most of the negative reviews are based on the bolts for the kickstand causing issues with the bike that it is installed on. The problem is that mass production has left the "aftermarket" kickstand lacking in exact measurements. The tolerance is so tight on the kickstand holes, that it might cause the bolts to bind and then cross thread in the frame of the host bike. I recommend DRILLING THE HOLES TO 1/4". It's the next closest size up from what is already on the kickstand. It does not cause issues to the fit. It allows enough room for the bolts to move ever so slightly and not bind when threading into the bike. The supplied bolts were the correct thread and we not too long.

This kickstand fit our Trek Verve 2 bikes perfectly. We chose the regular duty stands with 18mm bolts. This is a quality stand and works well. If you’ve never had a stand fitted to your bike, keep in mind that the threaded holes in the frame may have a significant amount of paint in them. There’s no chance you’ll be able to thread the screws in by hand. This may lead to thinking that the screws are an incorrect size. I was overly cautious so I removed a screw elsewhere on the bike that was the same size and checked. Using an allen wrench I was able to eventually clean the paint out using tiny steps back and forth, going a little deeper each time.

Great kickstand for the price. Easy to install and seems like it will last a long time. I got this for my daughter’s 20” bike as a test to see if it would work and it does but it’s not ideal. It’s just a tad too long for a 20” bike. When I have the kickstand out the bike is almost completely vertical with no lean. This is on flat ground. It would be pretty easy to tip over if the kiddo doesn’t stand it on even ground. I’ll probably keep it on and see how it lasts but if you’re looking for a 20” bike kickstand, this one won’t work. *update: I ended up cutting off about an inch and a half of the metal stand and used a hackzall to cut some slots for the mechanism to hook too. It now leans enough to be stable when stored and my daughter can even sit on it and balance without it tipping over. I really only wanted this to store in our garage so she wasn’t leaning it all over stuff, so I’m not worried about how much weight it can hold. That said, I don’t see it breaking anytime soon since I can sit on it as an adult and it doesnt seem weakened. Perfect fit. Easy to install. I have a liv bliss small frame it it fits great.

It's adjustable and works beautifully

Kickstand came earlier than expected. Simple to install. As it is adjustable, it was easy to get the desired lean angle. No complaints.

Fits well on my men large Giant escape. The bottom plastic part seems a litle cheap, hopefully it will last a while!

Bought 2 - Trek marlin 4 and Giant Talon 4 - excellent fit, strong and look great.

Superb quality even if it didnt fit my giant mountaint bike as the holes spacing was not for giant so returned it.
