Review: Oil it after washing to prevent rust. It’s iron, iron rusts. - Love this. It’s so cute it’s on my stovetop like a decoration. I’ve used it in spaghetti. Idk if it added iron or not but easy clean. I rinsed and washed with dawn. The rust reviews are from lack of oiling it. Like all iron pans you need to oil it after washing it or it will rust. Iron rusts. I just added olive oil put it on a napkin for a bit and dabbed extra oil off then put it on the stovetop to be cute. No rust.
