Legendary: A Caraval Novel

Kinda saw the real identity of Legend coming but it was still so good to read about all the events that led upto that. The stakes were higher and many secrets were revealed. I couldn’t stop reading the book and also, this book just made me even more excited for Jacks’s books!

Who is the friend that helped Tessa and she's indebted to? Who's the Legend and what's his story? Another game, but it's not only a game... Once started, Can't keep the book down... As good as Caraval.. But winning or losing the game which isn't just a game has consequences...

This book revolves around Tella, the younger Dragna. She is the main character of the book and is thrust into the Caraval but a player and with higher stakes, charades, deadly characters and a twisted plot. She has to repay a debt to a 'friend' and has to uncover the identity of Legend.This book is way better than the first book and that's mainly coz of Tella. She is not the sympathetic, cry-baby type of heroine but is independent and ready to face dangers to find her answers to the buried past. She's an active character, fierce and brave. Jacks, a new character in this book, is a mysterious character for sometime and turns the story in the book. Dante gets a big role in this book and he is another game changer here. The world building is good. Dangers lurk around every corner, old myths come to life, secrets are buried deep and there's a good amount of swoon worthy romance! The last 100-200 pages was the icing of the cake and I'm ready to jump into the conclusion (the next book).If you're doubtful whether to continue the series after Caraval, do read this book, it'll change your perspective on the series. This one's worth reading for sure! Can't wait to get more of this world!!

It was so much good than the first book(I like them both). Authors writing style is really good. There is romance, fantasy, plot twists- making it a page turner.

This book is an awesome book to read. I love all the unexpected twists and turns. It's better than the last one. And I suggest everyone to read it and let themselves get lost in the story.

If Caraval is story of Scarlett then Legendary is story of Donatella.The plot goes with the two sisters comes to Valenda with Legend’s crew, caraval takes place in Valenda now. Tella is must play because this year’s winner will come face to face with Legend.Tella also has a secret mission with another person who’s a powerful character in the book. He wants to know who’s the Legend, if Tella doesn’t find out before caraval ends. She cannot save herself and her mother. But if Tella choose to save her mother, all the villains who Tella thought never existed returns to empire and chaos will be released.There’s two path for tella but which one will she choose, that you have to read and find out.♠️To be honest, I don’t like Tella’s character much, she seems selfish and foolish to me.Scarlett is seen in few scenes but this book is more about Tella and Legend and the other character.♠️This is not a great book, plot is just fine. But why you should is because of authors imagination. Her writing and her world takes on different level of adventure.♠️

This book I could have done without. The only reason I read caraval was for Scarlett and Julian. Tella and Dante did not quite have that hold on me. so it made completing this book a chore. I couldn't relate to Tella and I didn't like Dante but that's just my perspective. I would have been much happier without a sequel to be honest.

The first book follows Scarlett as she plays the game and tries to save her sister, Tess. On the way she falls in love with Julian, learns who she is, what she wants, and what she’s capable of.This book follows Tess as she plays the game and tries to save their mother, Paloma. Dante helps her along the way and of course, they fall in love. Sounds like the first book, but trust me, it’s very different. And Dante. Oh Dante, you sexy, tattooed, secretive, morally grey, beefcake. Your conflicted, brooding and brilliant character arc made this story. As the story unfolds, you are also introduced to several other new faces. Specifically, Jacks, who both terrifies me and intrigues me. He’s one of those characters that keep you guessing whether or not he’s pure evil or has some good somewhere in him. Honestly, I still don’t know. Book 3 will hopefully answer some questions I have.I love how this book really focuses on fate vs free will. Is what’s happening to you fated, and totally predetermined? Or are you making choices and acting in ways that cause you to manifest the destiny you think you deserve?These books are so beautifully written, with descriptive prose that is positively alluring and dreamy. I don’t want the series to end, but at the same time, I CAN 👏🏻 NOT 👏🏻 WAIT 👏🏻 to see what happens.
