The product information says (l5-30p to three 5-20r) but the second picture on the left says l5-30r? description is confusing.i need it to be l5-30r.

The cord has a twist lock plug on one end that is male... therefore it is called a L5-30P. The P stands for PLUG and the R stands for RECEPTACLE. That is the only difference. So this cord, plugs into a L5-30 receptacle.

Does this cord provide fused/breaker 15 amp protection on each of the 3 outlets?

No it does not supply separate fused individual outlets. I use it on a generator where the outlet that the cable plugs into is fused in the generator so all 3 outlets go down if the cable is overloaded. Still a great cable

Will it fit any briggs and straton generator

If the B&S gen has an L5-30 outlet it will.
