Nice, simple set. Durable and feels good in your hand

My grandmother got a dample set of this pattern when I was 9 years old. At 51- I finally got the pattern I have always wanted. Its is beautiful! And better yet- they send each piece in a heavy duty plastic bag along with instructions on how to properly care for the flatware. I love this so much that I am going to order another set so I will have 16 pieces of each! Order this- you will NOT be disappointed!!!

I'm thrilled with this bamboo pattern flatware! I had a set of very expensive gold-plated bamboo pattern flatware that I bought in the 1970s. I loved it. When my daughter got married, I offered to give her a set of my china that she admired. She decided she wanted to register for her own china pattern. She requested the bamboo flatware instead. I gladly gave it to her, but I have missed it so much! I can no longer afford the expensive brand. I've searched for a pattern similar to what I had before, but everything paled in comparison. I found a pretty gold pattern that I bought at a garage sale that looks well with my china. It's nice and I like it very much. Fast forward, I saw this on Amazon, and decided to order it. I couldn't be happier! I don't have the original for a side by side comparison, but this is every bit as pretty. The color is perfect and it has a substantial weight. If anything, I like this better. The original handles were rounded and tended to spin in the hand during use. The handles on this are slightly flattened and much easier to hold. Thank you, you've made me very happy.

This silverware looks great and is easy to clean. I love the look of the gold and fits well with my other flatware. They have a nice weight which makes the utensils feel more expensive.

Love this set!! Bought 2 sets fot 8 people and couldn’t be happier!!! I’ve been looking for a classic gold flatware set for a long time: in Anthropologie, Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn. But it always seem to be the same problem: gold came off after a few washes. Nevertheless, Flatasy had great reviews about quality and that is TRUE. Also, the dessert pieces are the accurate size (most of the time the dessert spoons are like tea spoons). Finally, they have a great price, deliver fast and have GREAT packaging: I’ve even kept them in the box with divisions inside the drawer!!!!Buy them know and you would have flatware for life.

Right away, I could tell that these are going to be a great purchase. Nice feel to all pieces, spoons feel smooth in my mouth, fork is comfortable in cutting into semi firm food such as boiled potatoes or dessert bars, and the knife is fun to grip. I wash all my dishes and silverware by hand (it's kinda a zen thing for me) so I don't know how it holds up in a dishwasher. Glad I bought them!

I love the bamboo design. Unlike my previous flatware, this set has round handles, not flat, which makes them feel better in my hands. At this point I don't know how well the gold color will hold up, but they have come through two dishwashing cycles unscathed.

We got these Nov 18th, but they were a Christmas gift, so we didn't open/start using them until January 1st. I am leaving this review February 9th (so just over a month of use).We clearly use the forks and knifes more than the spoons.At first I thought is was mainly from washing them, however, what has me concerned os the spoons, the plating is mainly missing off of the area that you eat from.So I am sure that washing them is part of it, but we mainly only use the spoons for hot oatmeal. So it make me wonder if we are eating the gold plating ?I tried to reach out to the seller but the Amazon app keeps telling me to call customer service.

My second set of this cutlery set because I thought my first was just a dud. Turns out that even with this big price tag, the product is cheap and defective. Can't withstand more than 3 washes in the dishwasher (gentle cycle, gentle dish soap) without the gold stain coming right off! It's sad because this was the nicest flatware I was able to find and it was definitely a splurge.
