But the improvement in ride and handling is amazing. My OEM shocks had 72,000 miles on them and had become very weak. So maybe with any "new" shock absorber would be an improvement? The level ride now going around a ribbon exit ramp off an interstate is wonderful. I did invest in the Thuren Kit TF-1500RSHNTWR-SET built specifically to aid in removal of the top bolts/nuts that attach the rear shocks. However, a 21mm crow foot socket may work as well.
