Simple and effective -thick enough and FOOD SAFE
Unbleached twine perfect for trussing and tying. It was easy to find the end and pulls evenly off the ball and it works so much better than the twine i would recycle from cake boxes from my local bakery. This twine is thick enough that it is easy to handle and easy to tie and it is unbleached and FOOD SAFE.This Thanksgiving I tried something new and cut up my Thanksgiving turkey and boned and rolled the breasts and tied them. I cooked according to directions I found on line and it was delicious and so easy to serve. For Christmas I used this to tie a whole fillet prior to pan searing and made a wonderful Beef Wellington. This simple ball of twine was a big help.

Fantastic quality
I’ve never used any other brand of twine, but this twine is amazing. I’ve used it for all sorts of handyman repair jobs or arts/crafts. I’ve used it to tie together a floor lamp that was broken & wouldn’t even stand, fixed a broken chair, attached a heavy wall lamp onto an equality heavy wall metal candleholder, used it to tie together wood and brackets to make curtain rods, made hanging photo decorations, etc. It’s so strong & can carry a lot of weight. I feel like a professional boat builder with how many knots I’ve made working with this thing. It’s smooth and doesn’t fray. It’s not scratchy like other kinds of string either. This is an item staple that I will keep along with me wherever I go!

100% cotton food safe
I made an applicator from an old dish towel and used the twine to create the handle. I will put several inches of grape-seed oil (high -heat cooking oil) in the jar where it will be stored. Now I will use it to oil my cast iron grill grates prior to putting the food on the grill. This is much more efficient and cheaper than the aerosol grill sprays!

I Can’t Find This in The Stores
I’ve been looking for this type of twine, specifically made to tie poultry and meat, but I just haven’t been able to find it anywhere. And, when I ask the bubble-gum-chewing-and-otherwise-distracted teen sales clerks, none of them knows what I am talking about. I am probably being too cynical, but it’s true, more often than not. Since I was weary of using ordinary twine (and picking brown particles out of the chicken), and slipping around with dental floss, I was thrilled to find this on Amazon. It is absolutely perfect, and it easily ties together the legs of a chicken, allowing it to brown more evenly and it keeps the stuffing inside a turkey, without using various types of weird-looking and dangerous metal prongs and spears. Everyone who makes chicken, meat, turkey and so on, should have plenty of this on hand, as it will make the finished product evenly brown, and keep everything in place, for a beautiful presentation of the table.

Proper weight butcher string
This is a heavy, wide width string which I like as it does the job without cutting into the meat like some smaller diameter string will

Great to oil a pocketknife and to have in a drawer.
Plenty of string is a good thing! I use small lengths of this string to oil pocketknives, tie things together, and candle wicks. Better to have a roll in the kitchen drawer.
