Easy to use -
Simple you use - but it does crack in larger gaps, and the colours seem a bit weak - but it might just be me - it has done what I needed in the timber, so I can work with the rest of it. Went in/on well, seems secure.

Does the job, but colour is not what you expect
Being a wood filler you'd expect "natural" to represent an actual wooden colour wouldnt you? But this is more like a creamy white when applied and dry which to my eye doesn't resemble a wood of any description. With that said it is actually a good filler to use as it has a nice putty like consistency which easily spreads well and covers imperfections and chips in the piece being repaired well. Dries to the touch quickly and once left to cure for about 24 hours is easily sanded.

Bought the oak filler does set hard gave it 24hrs but the colour dries off white it’s nearer white than the internal oak doors I was working on hope it will take a little oak staining

Very happy!
Really happy with this product. Works well for removing the small imperfections from a nice piece of wood before sanding. Used it for a couple of larger holes too, but it takes a while to set - better to use a 2 part filler for the deep fills. Applies smoothly and evenly. Will definitely buy again.

Easy to use, OK outdoors.
I used this to fill in some cracks in the mahogany frames of our conservatory, outside and in. It was easy to use and several months later, it is still OK outside. The colour is a rather odd orange, nothing like the red mahogany of our frames. Several coats of wood stain blended it in, but I can't imagine mahogany ever being the colour this filler is.

Beware unexpected problems with this product.
After 50-odd years of carpentry/joinery, which occasionally involved making small amounts of my own fillers using sawdust from the wood I was using mixed with a little PVA glue, I decided to buy this Rustins product as I had a large number of punched panel pin holes to fill. What a mistake to make! The Rustins filler is very liquid (contents stirred to homogenise) and proved difficult to constrain to the holes themselves. These were about one to two millimetres across and were filled slightly proud of the surface. On allowing the product to dry, every filled hole had an indentation in the centre, ie had been sucked in during the drying process. Furthermore, the unwanted material around the holes proved difficult to sand down and the indentation in the plug remained. Worse still, the colour of the filled material was nothing like that claimed, eg “mahogany”, but very light pink. As the plan was to varnish the finished job, these pink spots are regrettably very noticeable. Clearly the product contains something like Plaster of Paris to make it harden quickly and so will never assume a wood-like appearance on the finished job. The only solution now is a time consuming sanding down and individually recolouring each pink spot prior to varnishing. I shall never rely again on a commercial product clearly formulated by a person who has never done a wood filling job. The old methods are the best and in the end actually prove quicker to produce better looking results.

Easy to spread!
This product was used to fill the holes done by woodpeckers on the wood of my home: the person who did this told me it was a very good product easy to spread and asked me to order some more.

It’s pink.
If your teak is pink, buy this. Isn’t teak color at all. Sticks out like a sore thumb. I’m gonna try and stain it before I put on the oil. Not looking good.🫣 Don’t recommend for teak.

Coloration
Not really a teak colored wood fill, more like a flesh color,
