Awesome
The Prismacolor Blending Pencil is a must-have for colored pencil artists looking to achieve smooth, seamless blends. Its colorless, wax-based formula allows for effortless blending without altering the original colors, enhancing vibrancy and depth in your artwork. The pencil format offers excellent control and precision, making it user-friendly for all skill levels. One minor drawback is that it may not blend dark colors as effectively, sometimes leaving a waxy residue. However, overall, it’s an invaluable tool that significantly improves the blending and finishing of colored pencil work. Highly recommended for anyone serious about their art!

I recommend it!
These blender pencils are very useful for creating interesting details when coloring. I started taking colored pencil coloring classes, and these blender pencils make all the difference. Coloring a sunset and using this blender creates such beautiful details. I recommend it!

Love them
These work really really good when blending color pencil drawings. Haven't tried on graphite yet but I'm certain they'll be fine. I like them no issues and will buy again if need more. Great quality pencils not cheaply made. Feels comfortable in the hands as well.

Great Blending Tool For Soft Core Prismacolor Pencils!
People who have Prismacolor Soft Core pencils know how well they blend because of their buttery wax. Commonly what people use to do such blending is use the colors themselves. This works, but is limited in a sense because blending with pencils tends to leave more of their color where you have blended the color to lightening or darkening something more than you may want and you have to keep working it back and forth until it looks right. The Colorless blender pencil is the solution to that! Just put your colors down and overlap them how you'd normally start your blending, then use this to finish the job without altering the shades you created because it's colorless. Well... the wax looks like a cloudy white, but it doesn't show on paper. Basically you can use this to slide color back and forth until you get something you want without having to add or subtract color (Unless you didn't put enough on to begin with of course. But you get a feel for that as you use your pencils more.).I wouldn't say it moves color around and fills color in as well as it does on that little packaging infographic so it's a tad misleading in that regard, but it can move it far enough to create smooth gradient transitions if the color is on thick enough and does a great job where you overlap color layers because you just have to "stir" them together. Also don't forget that the more you blend using anything, the "smoother" it'll look. So you might want to practice with this before putting it to use on an actual artpiece you're working on so you can use it when you know it's best to use it and make things come out exactly as you want them to.

Very Versatile and at a low cost; excellent for their intended, advertised use.
Perfect for blending several colors, as advertised. I also found them useful for smoothing out areas where pencil strokes made a little conglomeration of pencil color. I can't describe it any other way; but, I think that folks who use color pencils may know what I mean? I do have a heavier hand, depending on what I am coloring or sketching, so because of this, the softer pencils have a tendency to leave a lumps of pencil here and there. Prismacolor Blender Pencils are excellent for smoothing out your singular color, so that it appears more uniform on paper. They last, I'm not wearing them down significantly in two or three drawings. This leads me to my last point or question and it inadvertently includes these blenders. I have less need for Prismacolor blenders if a larger pencil amount pack were available in the Verithin version. I'm not implying I have zero use for blenders using Verithins because they make the color muted, softer. But, I can burn through the larger, softer pencils in a matter of a few weeks. I have to go to my local art store for the Verithins and buy them singularly. I'm not sure if the demand does not out-weigh the cost to manufacture, order and stock, etc.. But, why can I not find Verithins in the nice tins of 72 or so anywhere? Buying them per pencil is certainly not the cheapest way to go. I'm just glad I can get them locally in the more common colors. In closing and back to the subject at hand, I give these blenders a hands down "Yes" for your pencil box. You'll find them useful in many ways and well worth the cost, which in my opinion, is low like many things on Amazon. Get them!🎨

Essential for Wet Look
Easy and straight forward to use. I adore photorealistic work. I needed these blended to get a wet look. Great for eyes and apparently great for wet stones.
