This style appealed to me as an everyday walking sandal, with enough coverage to carry wellInto fall. I tried and returned two colors before settling on the coffee bean, and wore them around the house for a couple of hours yesterday. First impression- very tight across my pinky toes, and across big left toe where I had surgery years ago and where an arthritic bump has regrown. Thought I’d give them a chance to stretch a bit and adapt to my foot. Oddly, the cushioned heel was rubbing despite my inability to find anything that would cause that, and after two hours I removed the sandals. The impression of the straps was deeply imbedded on my left foot, and the arthritic bump (not exactly a bunion) was highly pronounced after being encircled by the straps. Creepy looking. Also, I had a small skin abrasion below my ankle bone on the outer part of both feet. Again, could not find the cause other than perhaps the stitching of the straps. Sorry they didn’t work out - had to send back. ### ⭐⭐⭐ European Sizing Doesn't Work for Me! *by D***T on Reviewed in the United States on September 4, 2019* I truly love the style of these shoes! i am usually a Size 7 so i first bought a pair in a Size 7, which was a European size 38. they were extremely comfortable but the laces at the top came completely together and there was at least an inch of space above my toes. when i walked in them, my foot felt loose and i worried that if they stretched even a little bit, they would be useless to me. i returned them & ordered a Size 6 (37). even though the length was perfect above my toes they were much too tight at the sides and hurt when i tied them. unfortunately, i had to return them too. what i think is that the European sizing this shoe is a half size off from USA sizes... that a Size 6 is more like a 6 1/2 & a 7 is more like a 7 1/2. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Runs large if you are a half size. *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2018* I loved the color but they were a little too wide at the heel. Also the arch support dug into the sole of my foot. I wear a size 8.5 and was advised to offer a 9.
