Thank god for the low setting with extra battery life. I charged it, tested it out, and was quite impressed by it. It was stored in the boat for the last two months and finally put to use last night. The light worked fine and threw a long and focused beam just where we needed it. Unfortunately, it does not turn off. Pull the trigger once and you get the brightest light; pull it again and the output is about 50%; pull it again and it should turn OFF, but it does not. The circuitry has failed and the LED remains lit which is obviously draining the battery. Since I am now past Amazon's return date I am stuck with a light that will not turn off. UPDATE: I emailed the company listed on the warranty, requested an RMA, but they have not returned my email. I sent a second email and that was also ignored.
