Has worked great for filling my PCP air rifle. So glad I bought it!
I talked to some big, strong people that said filling a PCP air rifle is a real workout even for them. Every time I use this compressor to fill my gun it only takes a couple of minutes and I am so glad I took the compressor route. It barely gets my compressor and gallon of cooling water warmed up. One complaint is the temperature gauge is very flimsy and doesn't hold the batteries well. The manual doesn't say what type of battery to use but it seems to be two AG10. The gauge snaps in VERY tightly into a square hole on the housing and when I did it, the battery connection opened up. In trying to pry the temperature gauge out of the sheet metal, the whole gauge fell apart. Also, the foot-long temperature gauge probe appears to have no spot to plug onto the compressor motor. On the Yong Heng installation video, they just show unfurling the probe and letting it hang on the motor. I couldn't get another temperature gauge when I called Amazon and didn't want to send the whole unit back, so I am without a temp gauge but am only using the compressor for a few minutes at a time and the motor barely warms up.

WORK AS EXPECTED
I bought this pump for filling up my airsoft HPA tank. My review is as follows:- Out of the box, there consist of many little parts, but they seem to be for spares.- The manual is not very easy to read mainly due to lack of picture instruction. Many time I have to guess what those terms are. So, I end up watching youtube videos for installation and operation.- The unit is heavy, so it is not designed to move around.- The noise level is still bearable.- The oil is not included.- The battery for the thermostat is not included.- The thermostat probe is not very clear on where to plug into, but again youtube videos save the day.- The metal tubes outside are extremely hot, and they are not shielded. I accidently got burn a few times.I use this for my HPA tank for a few times, and it seems to work pretty well so far. It is pretty affordable. I highly recommend this.

Arrived with a leak, seller made it right
Compressor leaked when it first arrived, reached out to seller, and was offered a partial refund to cover repair costs, which I accepted. Compressor is now working as it should. Seller was very prompt at returning messages, and very helpful.

Does what it say it does. Nothing more, nothing less.
I bought this to refill my HPA tanks for paintball guns and it easily fills up my 68ci container to 3000psi in less than 10 minutes. I've only used it 5 times so far and here's my current impressions.Cons:- It doesn't come with the hydraulic oil you need.- Doesn't come with the batteries you need for the thermostat.Pros:- Probably the best packed item I've ever gotten and its all cardboard. A thick cardboard crate that had a huge gash in it, but even that didn't go through the crate. Everything inside is packed with foam pads so you probably could drop it from table height and nothing inside would move or even get damaged.- Simple to use. Plug in the water pump and then just turn on the machine and it gets going. When I use this I let the compressor start with the relief valve open so it can start without any resistance or with a hard start. I close the valve then let the pressure build up as it fills my tank. Some reviews or youtube videos have an inline water/oil filter attached to it but I haven't had issues with water in my tank yet. This is the hardcover version, so it does have a spot where the compressor has extra steps to separate the water and oil from the compressed air.

Garbage
Context: I bought this to fill a PCP rifle.Out of the box this seemed fine. I added a quart of oil (NOTE: THIS DOES NOT COME WITH OIL) and hooked up the water pump. The pump is a $5 aquarium pump, not suited for this type of use. It lasted about 3 gun fills. The water pump was the first part to die, so I bought a $25 one that pumped 4 times as much. Shortly after, about one or two PCP gun fills, the pump began leaking excessively. I tried silicone tape and tightening all connections, nothing worked. I ended up returning it and am currently giving myself a heart attack using my hand pump instead.

This is a well made pump that quickly inflates my Benjamin Marauder tank in less than 30 seconds. Of course, I would have never known how to assemble or use the pump had I relied on the bastardized-version of English the "manual" was written in. Too bad the Chinese can't find someone to write clear and concise instructions. Worse yet, they totally omit important information like where to insert the temp probe. I found that online. Oh, and the fill end filter blocks the air connector from connecting with an extender hose. If you are getting this for an under-barrel fill, make sure you order an extender hose. But, it works great once you figure it out! The manual is pretty useless.

Very finicky make sure you start and stop the correct way
Filled up three tanks and then the piston locked up and all I did was unlock it because I opened one of the wrong believe Val‘s at the end of a fill highly recommend you watch a few YouTube videos on how to properly start and stop the device under no-load by opening both valves letting it run for a minute or two and then closing the valves and then when ready to stop open one of the valves to relieve pressure and strain I think I opened the wrong one and made my piston lock up slightly. Seems to work now I just wear my Kevlar vest and I protection now….

A Great little PCP compressor!
This is my second Yong Heng compressor. My first one had the auto stop feature, but this one is fully manual. They both work great. My first one blew a head gasket after about a year of hard use. The gaskets are cheap but have to come from China. I was quoted a delivery time of possibly up to a month so I decided to order this one as a spare. I tried using gasket material to make a new gasket but couldn't get it to seal off well and I ordered this one. I am very pleased with both compressors. The cost of both of these put together still cost less than most of the portable coolant and oil-free compressors and they fill much faster from the reviews I've read on them.
