Great Boots, even did well in snow despite being 'Cool' - 12 mos. Post-purchase Review
Have had these boots for a little over a year. I don't wear them every day, but use them periodically instead. I got them to wear out when I'm in the woods or training my dog and to do chores around the house when the grass is wet.Overall, these boots have been terrific. They are very comfortable overall and do well in a variety of roles. It recently snowed about a foot here and I wore these and even though they aren't insulated, they actually performed very well and I didn't have cold feet!!! They aren't really meant for hunting, but I wore them turkey hunting a few times this past spring and they performed ok as long as you aren't walking long distances.Pros:-Comfortable fit-Durable-Pretty cozy even in cold environments (see note above)-Waterproof (exterior)-Pretty easy to clean (I've had mud all over them and it usually washes right off with just water very little staying behind)-Dry pretty quickly (sweat inside)Cons (all minor):-Only real negative is they aren't as cool (temperature) as I thought they'd be in the spring/summer but you have to understand they are 100% waterproof exterior so there are limitations. I wear these with shorts in the summer and if I don't wear tall socks, my legs have a tendency to sweat and if you wear ankle/no show socks with them you might get some blisters on your ankles so definitely wear taller socks in the warm days-Slight break-in period (to be expected) but just thought I'd mention that here.

Great, well made boots for photographing in sloppy locations
I love these boots. Although the description doesn't say so, they are the "Chore Cool Hi" variant of the boot that is also available in a shorter version. I use them when photographing in streams and wetlands and on beaches. They let me get to places that would otherwise be inaccessible without putting on waders or wading in bare feet. This model has grippy Vibram soles which make walking on slippy surfaces easier. The insole is soft and removable which is handy for customizing the fit or just drying the boots out if you happen to get them wet inside. As far as the fit, they are very roomy inside. I put a SuperFeet Trailblazer insole on top of the included insole and the fit with my low volume feet is acceptable if still a little sloppy. I've hiked several miles in them without any problem. I have larger (17.5") calves and the tops of the boots are tight but not so much that they are at all uncomfortable. This is the "cool" version of the boot and, when standing in water, my feet are very comfortable. In temps below 70F, my feet and legs never feel hot or sweaty, however when temps rise any higher and I am exerting myself I become aware of the fact that my legs are getting a little sweaty. Nothing unbearable—though I can imagine them becoming increasingly uncomfortable as temps rise above 80F.These replace a set of NEOS overshoes that come up higher than these boots and are cooler (sometimes a good thing; other times not). I miss the extra height of the NEOS but nothing else. I am much more agile in these boots and, unlike every pair of NEOS I've ever owned, they are perfectly watertight as long as water doesn't come in over the top of them.In conclusion, I absolutely recommend these boots. They've really exceeded my expectations. I wish they came up even a little higher and were available in black or a black camo instead of the ugly (IMO) brown but I knew what I was getting when I ordered so I won't deduct anything for these minor quibbles.

Disappointed because they don't last
I really like these boots to be honest in the beginning. They were true to size and fit like a glove. I pressure wash for a living and what happens is the heel wears out fast ( about 10 months) and starts wearing holes in your socks. The last time I wore them I had blisters on the back of both heals. I do want to add the boots in my opinion are no cooler than another rubber boot which is fine with me. I can deal with it. I guess they call them cool because they're not insulated but don't think that your feet will be cool wearing these in the summer. I just wish I could wear them longer because these boots are not hurt on the outside just wore out on the inside heels and for the money I paid for these I expected longer life . What a shame.

Love the high boot
Love the high boot, but the sole catches every bit of mud and muck and holds on to it big time....I was amazed at how heavy the boot got with all the mud from the garden....I have actually had to break from activity just to clean the bottom as best I could. Truthfully, I wear my mid size mucks much more just because of that issue. Overall, Mucks are still the way to go for yard work and gardening.

Breathable and SUPER waterproof.
I was looking everywhere for a light(er) weight, breathable rain boot to take to Costa Rica for a research trip I was going on. I was super behind in buying my equipment, so I bought these on a whim, not really sure what to expect. Man, I could not have been happier. I hiked for miles through rainforests, deserts, and swamps in these. My feet definitely did sweat, but no more than the rest of me. If you add a moisture whicking sock to your outfit, you won't have much of a problem keeping your feet dry. Best part about these boots is that they're quick(ish) drying and don't retain the smell too bad. Would recommend to anyone working in hot environments.

Super dooper unreal warm.
These Boots are unbelievable, especially if you work outside in the weather, but don't expect to wear them on any day that it's greater than 40 degrees outside or you'll come home with your socks feeling like a piece of bologna underneath your foot.Hottest boots I've ever worn, hands down. Probably the most comfortable too. These things perform flawlessly, and are warm in sub zero temps soaking wet. You will not be disappointed, as long as you don't put them on above 40 degrees.

Comfortable straight away
Comfortable straight away, these fit as expected, they replace a pair of hard working 6 year old muck boots which have been great except for a quick wearing and poor gripping sole. Chore Cool has addressed this problem with the excellent Vibram sole. These are now work boot and walking boot in one! Not the lightest wellington but experience tells me they last plus you get some support and protection around the heel and toe box. Highly recommended, mine will do many miles. Delivery was good too...

unisex sizing
I've gone through a lot of pairs of normal wellington boots, mucking out the free standing horse boxes, which, this year, have mostly stood in deep mud. Regular plastic wellies tear, usually at the front of the ankle, after a few months, so I wanted something much more rugged, and these boots are exactly right. Tough, heavy material, and a great gripping sole, they are also pretty comfortable. Because the sizing is unisex, the boots do feel quite wide around my heels, even though the length is perfect, and true to female size 5 UK. Expensive, but, if they last at least a couple years, well worth it.

sizing off for women - wide fit
Might be good boots but the sizing is completely off for women. I am a 6.5 and ordered a 7 and I had to send them back. Very wide fit too. Ended up buying Grub boots that have a much better fit for women (also order here exactly to your size or if in between sizes the smaller one) and offer the same /better sole for a better price.

Comfortable straight from the box
Comfortable straight from the box. Walked dog in muddy, wet weather. Cleared wood in scrub area.If they last as long as previous Muck Boots then all is good.
