One of the best.
I've had this frother for about five years and I would use it every other day. It always worked flawlessy and created very nicely frothed milk. It is a little heavier because it uses four AA batteries but this also makes it more powerful. This type of frother is easier and quicker to clean than a manual french frother. I've had to purchase a replacement because I dropped it and the case broke in a way that the top part of the frother couldn't securely close with the bottom part. Before getting this frother I've tried two of the two battery types and they only lasted for a few months before their motors would stop working. Yes, I changed the batteries and still they would not work. I'm very happy BonJour still makes this frother and that I was able to purchase it again.

LOVE IT! also bought the SlickFroth 2.0
I was looking to replace my French Cafe Froth a Matic which also uses 4AA batteries. Before I finally found this BonJour Café Latte I bought the Kuissential SlickFroth 2.0 which turned out to be a surprise. I really didn't want one with a wire whisk type end much less one with only 2AA's. I didn't think it would be enough power to give me what I was used to. What I found out is I love them BOTh. This BonJour Café Latte is everything I was looking for and more and it's well made. It sits securely in the stand and feels good in my hand. You will need to hold the power button down to keep it going and just release it to stop. It whips and blends nicely - very smooth and creamy results. It does not provide as much froth as say the SlickFroth because they have different shaped ends. The BonJour has a flat disc which is fantastic for blending and will definitely provide some froth but not super foamy. This can be quite nice if you are a latte drinker vs a Cappucino one. On the other hand, the SlickFroth has a coiled whisk type end which brings more air into the mix and creates a lot of foamy froth very quickly which is also good. It really depends what you are wanting. Obviously you do have control over how you finesse each one so you don't have to go frothy crazy with the SlickFroth but it will get you there whereas the BonJour will not. But the BonJour will give you a smoother frothy finish and can tackle something a little heavier like yogurt for a smoothie and it whips cream in about 45 seconds. The 4AA's vs the 2AA's does make a difference. Remember though, neither are blenders with a lot of power. I use both all the time for different things.. If I was forced to choose it would be the BonJour Café Latte because of personal preference but if you are primarily into foamy froth the SlickFroth will give you that consistently but if you require more versatility and power this BonJour is for you! Really, you should get both :-). I believe they are the best in each category. Hope this helps.

Quit working with in 50 days of use.
This is a great product while it works. I bought it Jan 25, 2021 and it quit working within 50 days. I used it nearly every day. I got slower and slower, replaced batteries still very slow like laboring to work. I appears to be a problem with the switch. I tried to work some oil into the shaft, that worked for a couple times. This Frother has a mechanical problem. Poor quality Harley, Arlington WA

Best frother
I have used a milk frother every day for the past ten years or so, and, since every frother breaks eventually, I've probably gone through nine or ten different frothers from lots of different companies. This one is by far the best. By far. Despite what it says in the Q&A section above, it uses four batteries not two, and this gives it much more power (and frothing capability) than the two-battery models. The shape of the frothing part also works better than the whisk-type models, for reasons that I cannot explain. Also, unlike some models, this is very easy to use one-handed, with your thumb on the control button, which allows you to hold the glass with the other hand. And most importantly, the company has fixed what was a major problem with previous BonJour models in that the batteries used to pop out and you'd have to tape the top and bottom of the frother together to get it to stay closed. No longer. Now you turn it and it snaps shut and stays shut. From my experience, every frother is going to wear out in a year or two of constant use, so it's not something you want to spend a lot of money on. But this one is a fair price and it is definitely the best frother I've used. Looks nice too. Now if they could just do something about the stand so that it wasn't so easy to knock over, it'd be perfect. But some frothers don't even come with a stand, and you're not buying it for the stand.

I have owned the Bonjour frother for around 15 years. I recently ordered a replacement. This item was inferior quality, I had my old one to compare. The whole machine was completely out of balance. The manufacturer was completely cheapened the machine. In stead of brushed nickel finish it was painted silver. that will degrade in a short period. It was so badly out of balance it couldn't be used. Suggest Amazon no longer stock this piece of junk. Sincerely Daniel Montague

2 out if the 4 battery terminals are much more compressed than the other 2 making a poor electrical connection and causes difficulties when trying to put the battery cover/button portion back in. The body of the frother is NOT brushed stainless steel but plastic. I knew this already since I purchased this one to replace a broken we had bought from Homesense. This one, however, is nowhere near as powerful as out broken one was… probably due to the crappy battery springs.
