Good quality kit!
Kit worked perfectly to rebuild my Edelbrock 1406. No leaks, perfect operation. I would buy again.

Good quality gaskets and fit!
Just used this kit to finish a refresh on an Edelbrock 1406 carburetor. Used all the bits I needed and there were a couple left over that I assume are for other variants of Edelbrock or Carter carbs. The gaskets were great quality and fit perfect, look almost identical to the original gaskets I removed. And the metal accelerator pump fit great as well. I’ve got another 1405 Edelbrock on my bench that needs to be gone through, so I’ll order another of these kits when that time comes!

Rods, Jets, Springs all great!
Great kit!! Only complaint is the accelerator pump was smaller than the one in my Carter 650

Quality Kit
This kit is more complete, just as high quality and $15 cheaper than the genuine Edelbrock 1477 kit.

Does Come With Accelerator Pump
I just received this kit and have not installed it yet. I will update this review when it is installed,. Looking at the kit, it is not bubble wrapped on a piece of cardboard. It comes in a zip lock bag with a staple in it to keep it from coming open. It has the needle and seat ( two piece ) and it has everything needed to renew your carb. I was delighted to see the air horn gasket, as I have not received one of those on a renew kit, until now. My carburetor is the Carter Competition Series 9605S. The needle and seat is the standard issue. If you want the spring loaded series you will have to order them separate. They control the fuel flow better for rough conditions, such as on a 4 wheel drive. The gaskets are thick and installed with no problems. The accelerator pump is 3/16 of an inch longer than the original, no big deal, just use the top hole in the 3 hole linkage plate. I have been putting kits in carburetors for many years and considering what comes in this kit, it is overpriced. You get good gaskets, and there is not that many for this carburetor series, and a lower quality needle and seat. I live in small town America and don't have access to parts like in a big city. I have purchased complete kits with all kinds of optional parts, such as different size shooters, etc. for less money.

Good quality rebuild kit. Would but anytime.
All parts were good quality and proper fit other than the two stainless ball bearings, one is slightly to big and the other slightly too small for our edelbrock 1406. But so long as you don’t lose the original, it is reusable. Good gasket material, quality accelerator pump. Rebuild is complete and runs as it should, no leaks no issues. Thanks!

Had everything I need for 1400
Only reliable carb kit for a good price I could find. Didn't come with paper measuring ruler for the floats but if your knowledgeable enough to rebuild a carb obtaining proper float hieght isn't a issue.

metal accel pump does not come with accel pump return spring overall a great kit used it on a edelbrock 1405 on a 1966 Plymouth sport fury 383 engine be sure to follow the instructions to make the carb really preform well it has to have certain distance for the floats to hang down in the bowls and a certain height they have to be to shut off the needle and seat and also make sure your accelerator pump rod is the proper distance sticking out of the carb to really give it the right amount of accelerator pump travel you bend the rod that goes from the pump rod to the throttle also for default setting i went with 1 1/2 turns so 3 half turns on both idle mixture screws make sure your throttle has full travel with your gas pedal barely crack open your idle set screw for your throttle if you got no gas in it you might have to give it a little from the top first but not too much if everything is right it should turn on without any pumping required in about 10-15 seconds it will have enough gas in the float bowl to idle you adjust your idle set screw and get it to like 750 rpms then do a part wot hit for one blip and you will see how good these edelbrocks can be
