Great, for business use.
These units are a cost effective means for businesses to add more workstations to their networks. Very small, low power, low maintenance units that over time will save you even more money.Easy to setup and run full windows office suite as well as full Adobe suite. Video plays in full screen with only a bit of lagg on the switch, but mostly plays smooth. Skype also works on these.Video games do not work with this device not even Minecraft. Most games will not play over a remote connection, so not really the units fault. As far as I have seen this is the only limitation of these units.

I have deployed 6 of these with Lubuntu and Windows 7 and will deploy 15 more of these in the coming weeks, love them!
This is the real deal. These little boxes are money and planet savers.I replaced 5 aging Windows XP computers with a single Lubuntu 12.04 server and 5 of these little boxes. They work beautifully. I recommend Lubuntu since it does not have all the silly animations of Unity in Ubuntu 12.04Also Linux Mint won't work, will have to be Ubuntu, Xubuntu or Lubuntu. Lubuntu is by far the best I tried.Windows 7 works perfectly.Tip: register the sessions after setting it up from the Ncomputing console since otherwise it will drop the session every hour. These little boxes consume only 5 watts of power compared to about 500 watts for a typical desktop PC.With Windows you will need CAL licences but with Lubuntu Linux you can just plug as many users as you want and still rock.Great money and power saver!

do not buy it does not work
Buy 5 for the L300 utlizarlos in a computer center in my company, of the fitting was very complicated, there are delays in the transmission of data, if you want there internet slowness and incompatibility with browsers mozilla and google chrome, not to mention the video's delay in the sound and the video, 1 L300 resulted defective and did not want to change me, I strongly urge not to invest your money in these devices that deceive people and on top now after 1 week of use no longer works

Great product...and reliable.
As long as you have a GREAT network, you shouldn't experience any problems with this unit. Also, must have a great server. If you don't have any of the aforementioned, I wouldn't recommend this product, because it'll only hinder your experience thus giving you the bad perception of the product. Keep in mind it's a "0-client" meaning it has no moving parts. Its performance is only as good as the server and network you have. It can either be blazing fast or slow as a turtle, depending on what you have setup. If you're an experienced thin-client user or administrator, this product is a dream come true. If you're an IT individual you better know about this. It'll save you a ton of money in the long run. It only consumes 5 watts.

Fantastic device...
Not great for video streaming, but fantastic for cutting down on computer hardware at work. We have 7 of these in our office for use on one workstation. The idea is to get a fast computer, 64bit, maxed out memory (16gb) and excellent CPU (i5 or i7), and the L300s. We have 7 users working simultaneously, and the workstation never slows down. Works fine with chrome. However, for reasons I don't understand, some cheap monitors don't work well in combination with chrome and certain resolutions. I've found this to be the case specifically with one 26" Asus monitor. Strangly, they work fine with another 26" Asus monitor that we use.

NComputing L300 VDI
This is a great virtual desktop terminal. Super simple setup which gives you a Windows or Linux session as if you were running on a stand-alone computer. Depending on the server that you use, up to 30 of these L300s can be installed per server. I've even used windows 7 and 8 desktops as servers for these terminals.Seller had a good deal that I took advantage of. Delivery was fast, and price was fair.

I have used about 40 or better of these.
I've created numerous training centers at work using a good tower computer with added resources and a server OS. Largest center has 24 virtuals running using the L300's. They have performed well and the training includes video's on most of the courses. Have no complaints with the L300 performance and they are easy to configure and have been stable for us.
