Almost had paralysis from over-analysis. Anyway, I wanted something with some style (matching her style) that would provide protection while inside a messenger bag. This slip cover met my needs. The device fits nicely, the design is pretty much as pictured (my wife loved it) and it was delivered in a timely manner. It does have a bit of a funky odor as other reviewers have noted about some of these covers, but not unbearable (there are several sellers offering what appear to be the same cover re-branded). I left it propped open tent style and that seemed to help. It's got a soft interior to prevent scratches, but isn't overly thick, so don't expect this to provide any significant drop protection. That's not what it's made for. I read some reviews about zipper problems, but the zipper so far works fine. I suppose if you over-stuffed it, the zipper might give some trouble. I think this is a good value for the price and it's intended use, and Plemo has some nice styles to choose from. I would buy it again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect! I purchased it for my Macbook Pro (13 in) in 2013. This sleeve has protected my laptop more than I ever expected - countless spilled drinks, several drops on sidewalks. My laptop has come through it all with no noticeable damage, and with this sleeve as it's only protection. It's fits my laptop perfectly - no extra space for my laptop to slide around. It also doesn't make my laptop too bulky like some other sleeves I've had in the past, so my laptop still fits easily inside my bags. I love the zipper closure, it zips smoothly even after four years and it is much more effective than open-ended sleeves or sleeves with button/velcro/foldable closures. The design on the outside of the sleeve isn't as vibrant as pictured (though this could be due to age and wear on my sleeve, I don't exactly remember how vibrant the colors were when I first ordered it), but I like the muted colors in the design more anyway. The fabric on the outside is super durable and very easy to clean. I've spilled so many things (drinks, food, etc.) on this sleeve and most things wipe right off with a wet towel. I've also washed this sleeve in the washer on a gentle setting and let it air-dry without any issues. Overall, especially considering the reasonable price, I don't think I could have found a better laptop sleeve for my needs.
