This is the second time I had to replace our 6-in sprinkler valve cover. The first time I had to replace it was when it broke while mowing the lawn several years ago. But, back then, I had no problem finding a replacement!Then, last week, as I removed the sprinkler valve cover in order to mow the lawn, it slipped out of my hand and rolled down the long steep wooded slope to our neighbor's yard far below! All I could do was to just stand there and watch this thing take off on it's rim, rolling down slope like a wheel until it got lost in the underbrush towards the bottom.I thought it wouldn't be a problem to replace this one since I had no issues replacing it the first time! But sadly, after searching several different hardware stores, I wasn't able to find any that fit! There wasn't a size that was compatible because they were all too big by about 0.125 inch to a quarter of an inch. I picked up a couple, but neither fit, so I had to return them.I decided to search on Amazon, and was able to find a "universal" sprinkler valve cover that fit a 6 to 7-inch opening, and found this one by Underhill! I just received my order today and tried it out immediately.It fits like a charm! It also looks close to what I used to have before! The cover also looks to be made of the same durable material, and it looks similar to what I had before! (I may have to invest into a 2nd one, just to have as a spare, because, who knows?!)I highly recommend this sprinkler valve cover! It had the highest review at the time of my search, and I'm really happy to have found a good replacement!

I ran over my old cover with my lawn mower, and it made a good size nick. The old cover was about 6 1/4 and it was impossible to find a cover that fits snug. This product does the trick. It is easy to put on fits snug on the sprinkler valve.

Items were good and fit properly. I think the price was high but couldn’t find the size I needed anywhere else.

Purchased this as a replacement as I have a larger older irrigation system. The fit was perfect and it looks great. The only downside is that it is way overpriced. I found another product: Ground Toppers that has them for $10 each in a 6 pack and they work the same exact way and they fit just as well with the same quality and look. I purchased this one here because I needed it quickly and it arrived on time. But if you need more I suggest searching for the previously mentioned name on the interwebs.

I ordered 3 of the caps to replace the odd sized water boxes in my year. They work out great! Fit perfect and seem to be durable.
