AutoglymHi-Tech Flexi Water Blade

Excellent design, worth every penny
This water blade I use when I wash my car myself. The previous blade was a cheap Halfords one (for around £5 I thought it was excellent value for money) until you start using it and notice you need many moves to wipe the car clean. This Autoglym blade is quite a bit more expensive (about 3-4 times the price) but with a T-shape blade effectively wipes the water off in one move, saving one energy and frustration. One does not need to apply a lot of force, just gentle sweeps will do it. All in all it works excellent and the T-shape is an excellent piece of design. The Halfords one has been demoted to the bathroom to clean the walls of the shower and even that not doing as excellent as it could have been. So unless you do not mind spending 15 minutes extra on wiping the car clean, the Autoglym blade is the best buy for getting rid of excess water I can imagine.

Nothing else compares, if you love your car you need this!
To wash a car you need a sponge, bucket, soap and water. To dry and car and make it look a million dollars you need this.It leaves a fantastic showroom look after washing and it never ceases to impress. Do not buy cheaper non-branded items with a rigid plastic handle, the Auto Glym product has a bendy rubber handle which is essential for following the curves of the car bodywork and if you should snag the body you will not not scratch it like a plastic handle can.Ive just bought another one of these, as my previous one has just begun to split along the blade leaving streaks when drying but....my original Flexi is over 5 years old and has probably dried 2 cars a week, every week during that time. I cant count how many sponges ive had to replace in this time so i think a 5 year life span is fantastic! Its also worth having a micro fibre cloth to hand to assist with drying the hard to reach areas (under wing mirrors and spoilers etc) as unfortunately this blade cannot get to every part of the car due to size but thats not too much of an issue as it will happily do the other 99% of the car with ease!Dont forget you can use it on coaches, trucks, minibuses, vans, boats, planes, tanks and household windows too!Top tip: buy one for the bathroom to use on the shower doors after showering for streak free glass every time!

Good, but not perfect
These things do save a load of time and work when washing your car, especially if you follow it up immediately with a slightly damp micro-fibre cloth. It doesn't take much for them to streak though, and you need to be really careful not to get any grit or dirt caught otherwise you'll drag it across your paintwork and make it worse.I bought this particular one to replace a cheap one I'd got from Halfords a while back, and this is much better. They are pretty expensive for what they are, especially this brand, but it is decent quality and looks like it will last. Even better, it's got a red handle, and that's always a bonus! lol

Very handy for cleaning and particularly dewy mornings.
Love these and have one in all our cars. They sell them to aid with drying cars when cleaning, which they do very well, leaving no water marks or similar, but where I find them brilliant is clearing windows on a dewy or rainy morning. My cars windows don’t always clean well when lowering and raising the windows, but 2 minutes with the blade in the morning before heading out gets windows and mirrors clear of rain or dew - perfect visibility without the wait.My son also happens to like doing this activity, so a win all round.Great product, worth the money in my view.

Indeed a good quality, but too expensive
Well, quality is absolutely unbeatable, but would I pay nearly £20 for it. No, as there very similar quality alternative for around £4. which is 5 times less.Well, maybe it's a good Christmas gift for someone, as I have mentioned, handle is very comfortable, soft etc.
