The cajon is everything I could ask for and more. The different sounds it can make are truly amazing, and the amount of sound such a small instrument can create never ceases to amaze me. It's great for traveling, as it's really light weight and portable. It's really nice for a great acoustic sound, especially great for backing folk style music. I've tried using brushes on it too and it sounds great like that. Beyond that, I tried a couple cajons at Guitar Center before deciding on this specific one. Others lack the same kind of resonance that this cajon delivers, and they're incapable of being heard over even a small amount of guitar/bass. This cajon holds it's own very well and is overall the best cajon out of the several that I tried.
