It's also a must to get a cloudlifter so you're not maxing out your gain. The volume and quality will be much better. All in all, this was a solid purchase. Audio is very subjective, so definitely listen to some sound tests on YouTube before you make your decision. While this mic is perfect for my needs, it might not be for yours.
