Awesome card that I wanted to love!
It is a very fast card....in most areas. And it was great....most of the time. I'm not a huge PC gamer. I have a pretty good computer with an Radeon 7950 video card, i7 4770k processor, 32GB 2400MHz DDR3, and a 1TB SSD. I'm running on 2 27" 1080P monitors. For a hard core gamer, I can't imagine there being a better card out there. For starters, I loved the heat removal the card had. With the GPU core at 100%, the temperature of the card was kept at 180ยฐF by the speed of the fans (it likes it there). It was blasting that hot air out the back of the card and I couldn't even hold my hand in the air blast without it becoming too hot after a bit. The Radeon card I have is not only louder, but also doesn't remove heat as efficiently from the case. When I do play games, which I started doing again after purchasing the Radeon 7950 video card, I use just one monitor. I can bump up the settings pretty high but I couldn't max them out. I also do Folding@home on team 33 with my spare cycles and the Radeon card is excellent for that. My points per day are a bit over 100k total between the CPU & GPU. So I figured, why not go with the GeForce GTX 780 Ti card to increase my folding points per day even more! And I would get to max out the settings on the games I play. The card did allow me to max out all of the graphics settings. In the Heaven Benchmark, it would even max out the settings on both monitors! This is a fast card! But where it failed to please was with Folding@home. This dropped significantly to about 70k. On top of this, I frequently remote desktop to my home computer from work. On the Geforce card, this would crash the Folding@home process using the GPU and I would lose my cycles until I logged in when I got home. This never happened on the Radeon card. So since I wanted to continue with Folding@home and I wanted to continue using Remote Desktop, this card had to be returned. I wasn't willing to sacrifice these two things to have this great gaming card.

First Timer to Pro testing.
After 6 months of having this one must think about everything there is to do with it. To keep it to the basics, I went in as a "basic" consumer wanting "large" payoffs just like most new people start new hobbies. I already knew how to overclock, it wasn't my first system. For 3 months I tested it bone stock, full bone stock system. I5 4670k @ 3.4 GTX 780 Ti superclocked @ 980 base and 1046 boost. As of Driver updates regularly Corsair Dominator Plats 16gb @ 2133 Corsair h100i Corsair 250d BenQ 27inch 2560x1400 Monitor Nothing changed from that, I downloaded MSI Afterburner to begin testing games, I loaded Assassins Creed 3, Assassins Creed Black Flag, Titan Fall, Total War 2, Thief, Battlefield 4, Banished, and Skyrim with very high res packs as well as many other mods for improving the eye candy. It went well all settings immediately set to the highest on everything. Now Assassins 3 played just fine, blackflag needed a little tune down to not get visual glitching, Titan Fall is fine, Total War I was holding 40fps solid, Battlefield in the test range I was averaging 60 but due to my monitor only being able to handle that well that tells its own story, Banished had major visual glitches on maxed settings, and Skyrim ran perfectly fine except in a spawned in war with many spells and visuals being cast all at once. The card ran fine, temps were fine, playing banished on max settings getting over the screen tearing and moving slower through the world heated my card up to right around 60-70 degrees. All the others my card stayed steady at around 50-60 while the temp in my room sat at a easy 23-25 degrees Celsius and all very acceptable temps. Average my card turbo'd up to around 1300 was my top number. After overclocking. I5 4760k @ 4.2 GTX 70 Ti @ 1200 base, power limit at 110% Memory clock +100 mhz and Temp limit on 88 degrees I no longer had clipping on or tearing on any of the games, Total War average went up to 45-50fps, Banished stayed without tearing and sat at 64 degrees average, my boost clock now sits around 1500 boosted. So what can I say about this card.. Well for gaming this card is great. I feel I have more of a gem card because on stock I was getting a few small throttling issues though with bumping up the temp, over power percent, and core and memory speeds I have gained a pretty strong overclock. Its very stable so long as I keep my room temp at this level. When it started heating up for the summer if I let my room get much hotter it did start having some issues at times when my room got to around 28-30 degrees though keeping my room temps down it does stay stable. Fixing to upgrade to AMD 9370 @ 4.4 base 4.7 boost 2 R9 290x's in crossfire with a custom waterloop Corsair Dominator Plats 32gb @ 2133 CaseLabs Magnum sma8 Custom Green/Purple Paint on the light bars for Plats, Dual water-loops with purple/green liquid, painted Corsair fans.

GTX 780 ti was just a punch from NVIDIA to r9 290x.
I have no complains against this card but this is all about Nvidia strategy to knock out AMD and show their superiority nothing special for the customers like 780 ti 6gb replacing 780. If you have a tight budget and you want to buy the top class GPU, you better go for GTX 780. GTX 780 ti is kinda a high performance on high cost. RX 290x is an amazing card if you are ready to ignore its extra high temperatures and hair dryer sound I used it for a week but it was not possible for someone to sleep in the same room while I'm playing on max settings. I'm sorry I'm getting off the topic. GTX 780 ti is giving 4 to 6 % better FPS as compare to GTX 780 so its mean it is doing what expected but its not a huge jump. I can go back to 780 any day as my games runs just fine on 780 on max with 1080 monitor. If you have enough money to spend and want to hit 1440p or 4k go for titan cus of its 6GB ram and if you are on tight budget GTX 780 is a better choice but if you are enthusiastic like me this is the one you should buy. Forgot to mentioned 3 free games I got with this card which I was not expecting from Amazon. I thought I will get these games only from the sites mentioned on the list on Nvidia site, once again Nvidia trying to play smart or dump! Amazon shipped it like little delay, delay cus of the weekend and DHL international shipping was awesome it was like they were in hurry.

Go to Newegg instead, Amazon is a joke.
Ordered 2 of these bad boys and because I did it on a single invoice Amazon will not give me 2 promotional game codes. So I dropped ~$1500 on a single invoice and they are refusing to give me a code worth $15? That is good business right there... Well I already have to order more cards for another rig, and Amazon will not be getting my money again. By the way, the card is amazing. No issues.

Amazing that almost 4 years since I bought this card I still have not found a single game to lag or not be able to run on ultra! I even got an 5 year evga extended warranty for 30 CAD. Without this warranty this card wouldn't have lasted.
