Agri-Fab 45-0409 Push Spreader 50lb Capacity Black

I think I may have been sold a returned item. scratch marks noted along entire top rim of bucket, Missing English assembly instructions. 18 different languages - but no English! All I had to go by was 1 single picture(same pic for each language). I think I assembled the handle and controller correctly. Will update when I attempt to use it.

It works great for the money, the handle was a little hectic to get in place.

Does NOT hold 50lbs of weed&feed. Cheaply constructed. Slow delivery.

I am a tall person, 6 ' 4" and this product is not for me. Spend the extra cash and do yourself a favor.

Do not like spreader at all. Do not recommend this type spreader for personal use.Always have to remember to turn off flow button when stopping or turning otherwise all of the contents spills out on surface.

I loaded this spreader with fertilizer. I pushed on the handle to start moving - the plastic part of the body where the handle attaches broke immediately. Really a piece of junk.

The handle broke off the plastic holders the 3rd time I used it. Walking slowly with load of ice melt at 6 on gage and hit a piece of ice and the handle broke off the plastic frame on both sides!

The first one I received broke in pieces two seconds after i put it together. I waited two weeks for a replacement. The replacement work just as described.

The mechanism to control the rate of flow is completely inaccurate. The lever operates, via a rigid wire, a simple sliding flap under the hopper. There is a significant amount of free movement in the flap such that it is a bit of a lottery as to how wide open it will be and therefore how much seed/granules will be dispensed. You can forget any idea of selecting a setting on the lever and having it dispense the amount you expect it to.It also feels a little flimsy, if you’re walking along and a wheel encounters a rut or other obstruction the whole machine flexes and feels like it will break.

Such a shame. It would not take much to make this a good product. However, the 2 plastic wingnuts are poorly made. I had to spend 15 minutes with a screwdriver enlarging the holes so that they would fit. The wheels are stiff, as is the lever to adjust spread distance. The result was almost no seed for 15m, followed by a big dumping of seed in one spot. I ended up spreading by hand without this rubbish. Waste of money.

Son loves it for spreading rock salt. Does the job and good for the money but unsure how long it will last.

Total rubbish. The handle does not fit the main body which is flimsy and poor quality. The bolts supplied to fix the poorly fitting handle do not fit the unit and are therefore impossible to tighten. No assembly instructions provided. I have sent it straight back!
