ROCKBROS Sucker Bike Rack for Car Roof Suction Cup Bicycle Carrier Quick Release Aluminium Alloy Roof Rack

So this actually held my $4k trek mountain bike, daughters $1400 mountain bike and my sons $800 mountain bike with no issues. I say the price because having something that valuable is pretty terrifying especially because I’m not made of money. It held up doing 80-85mph for a total of close to 3hrs but was mounted with no bikes for a total of 3 days. Just need to make sure to push in the things to keep them as tight as possible. Only issue was for my bike and my daughters bike is that the supplied latches weren’t long enough to reach from one side for our fork to the other side so I had to drill the plastic pieces on the rack where the hub supposed to connect needs to be wider because I used my bikes original axel because it’s the perfect length and even that the bike rack isn’t wide enough so there’s some play and in this case I’ll have to get some rubber washers to keep it stiff. Other than that this bike rack seems to be very high quality overall and did SUPRISINGLY well!

Why 4, not 5? This did $3600 damage to my Tesla roof and tailgate glass, and more than one pump, although working, still shows the white failure indicator. The damage was caused when the fork released and the bike flipped backward. Solution: strap the front down. I gave it 4 stars because the cups never failed and it is a generally solid product. I also added lateral straps, but don't ratchet those down or the glass will crack.

This bike mount is awesome! Gave it a test run for about an hour drive at 55-65 mph and it was flawless! Easy to put on the top of my vehicle and stayed secure the entire way. Then the true test, 5-6 hours on the interstate! I checked it several times and never had any issues. It felt secure at each stop and I never had to adjust the suction or straps. Mounting was simple and quick. (You do need to carry some type of water application to wet the suction cups. I used a spray bottle, but they definitely need a little water to make the best deal). I’m once mounted on the vehicle I removed my front wheel and used the provided skewer (no need to take it fully out, just loosen) and secured my front fork. Note: make sure to use the provided strap to secure your crank prior to loading your bike. Not a deal breaker but makes life easier so your crank doesn’t spin and gash your vehicle. Secured the rear mount after loading the bike, to make sure the alignment was correct. Again using a little water to make the suction much better. Then strap in the rear wheel and you are on your way. This mount performed perfectly!

We were honestly skeptical at first, but after a month-long testing period the product is holding up as it should. The long bar has four suctions cups and there are 2 in individual suction cups (to hold the rear wheels in place). A plus is that the design is modern and sporty so it doesn’t turn your car into a boring mom’s car. There’s no assembly required and the set up was super straightforward. 123 and BAM— We were on the road. Our only concern is the fact that it’s super easy to setup, but also easy to remove. The theft-protection level is low. It was in our best interest to remove the bike rack as soon as we arrived our destination and we would have to set it up after we’re done with our bike ride. Other than that, it’s definitely worth a buy!

I was hesitant to get this, but I'm glad I did. If your vehicle is like mine and limited in its capacity to have a proper roof rack, or you are looking for a lesser expensive option, this is it. I kept looking through my sunroof sporadically during the first few times I used it, but now I don't even bother once I've set the suction cups and mount the mountain bike. This has taken my mountain bike hundreds of miles, some on highway at 80+mph, and some on twisty B roads with less than ideal road surfaces. I even drag raced my friend while I had my bike on the roof and this thing was solid. I will simply say for context that the car goes 0-60 in 3.5s and does the quarter mile in just about 12 seconds flat. For those that don't understand the context, rest assured it is a violent acceleration and the bike mount did flawlessly. I am completely confident in this product at this point and I'm glad I saved the money and decided not to buy the Seasucker system. Note: My bike does have a Boost 110 axle so I had to purchase the adapter for like $10, also found here on amazon

Alright well it looks great in my car and they do hold up but you do have to keep an eye on the write strips that aren’t supposed to be showing when fully suctioned. The bikes also shake pretty good when you’re going down the interstate. I was not comfortable going above 80mph when I had them on. I tried them they function but they can come up with something better, all in all if you’re not nervous having your 2k plus bike strapped to your roof and then seeing it shake…. Yeah no. Still looks good though .

I have used this mount on top of my corolla for a 6 hour round trip on the highway and it worked like a charm! My only complaints are you can hear the suction cups move the roof of the car if you take a turn too sharply, and it will leave rings where the cups were at on the roof if you do not clean it thoroughly before installing it.

Great product; if tou have a thru axel THIS WILL NOT WORK. You must drill certain parts to get it to work. Other than that; as of now. Looks really nice and those suction cups are super sturdy. Getting them off if a bit hard, and placing the bike on the roof is a little harder than what I imagined; but surely after a few times it will be easier.

Easy to install. Takes a while for the driver to feel confident but after that you simply drive.

It always feels sketchy driving around with a mountain bike on it, but never had any issue, works really well. One note would be that you need a adapter for thru axle.
