I make sure to eat any food at least 1.5-2 hours before working out, so Im fueled up and not hungry. I don’t drink any sports drinks, just these BCAAs. On the days I forget to make this drink, I’ll bring regular water. I noticed I fatigue faster and longer during the workout with just regular water. This is nothing like preworkout, which is a good thing. (I hate preworkout, but that’s a different story). So if you’re looking for preworkout, this is not it. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the powder is so fluffy. The powder will puff up when you pour it into your bottle and when you pour water in to mix it. It will make you sneeze if you’re breathing too close. It also gets all over your hands if you touch the insides of the container. I also give it 4 stars because it is extremely sweet. Holy cow, the sucralose is a little over done! People seem to complain about the small amount inside the large container but it is a full 30 servings so I don't get what the big deal is.As far as muscle soreness, I haven't really noticed that much of a difference before and after using but I don't typically get super sore anyway.
