Needles, seats, plastic diaphragms. It worked for a few days and then it wouldn’t even start. I bought this 96 GTI with only 18 original hours in it. It just needed the carbs refreshed from sitting in the garage for 27 years. Otherwise it’s practically brand new. I put this kit in it and it runs like a top. I just bump the start button and it fires up. It come with everything that’s in the car. All the seals diaphragms needles seats jets and then some I guess it’s universal for other units. You can’t go wrong. The material is far superior from the cheep kit I bought. I have been rebuilding Mikuni carbs for the better part of 25 years. I was recently in a pinch on my wife’s ski and couldn’t get the necessary parts in time through work for a last minute trip we had planned.I ordered this kit, and through Amazon Prime, had it the next day. The kit was less than 1/2 the cost of OEM parts (at my employee cost). Everything in the kit is very high quality, especially the extremely vital rubber o-rings, diaphragms, and needle and seat! This kit comes with everything you will need including base gaskets and the fuel filter element and bowl gasket (most people overlook that stuff when trying to be their own mechanic)! The only thing not supplied is basic mechanical knowledge, which when reading some of the other feedback, was obviously overlooked by other customers.So if you are in the market for top quality parts to rebuild your carbs, a kit that includes everything you need, and you have the mechanical competence to know what you are doing (or at least be able to admit when you don’t and seek out the proper information in a service manual), then you will love these kits!By the way, it’s been almost 2 full seasons since I purchased that original kit for my wife’s 96 XP, everything is still flawless! I have even used this same kit 15-20 times for side work in my garage with ZERO issues!
