...I do not think people realize how powerful using a cold ice pack is to repair the body. Let me tell you!...you need to leave this item on any part of the body where you have pain for at least 20 mins. When you have the ice pack on the painful joint or muscle, its gona hurt real real bad when you applie the ice pack. The more pain you can take the better. The colder you can take it the better!! Its gona get real cold! and hurt! But what this dose it draws out all the old bad built up rubbish that gets stuck deep in the connective tissue in the joints and the surrounding area. All the old dead blood cells and toxins are drawn completely out of that area and pumped right back through to the heart where all the rubbish is filtered out and purified by the heart, which allows new fresh white blood cells and healing substances back deep into the affected joint and then the real healing begins. Its always best to take vit c ( ascorbic acid ) and hydrolyzed collagen and vit E and glycine and L glutimine (1 teaspoon of each) with 25 mg of vit b 6, (The b6 and L Glutimine when combined create GABA in the body and help you relax and repair) mixed in water or slightly warm milk half hour before you begin the treatment. That way the body has the right substances flowing around the body at the same time as you applie the ice pack. One thing to remember always use a thin sheet of cotton between the ice pack and the skin to avoid ice burns. Right after the treatment you may not feel any better or it may feel worse. But the next day you will feel great relief. Keep applying this technique each day or every two days until fully recovered. If you can not take the full pain for 20 mins just take the ice pack off for a few mins. Take note of the time and when the pain has reduced re applie the ice pack and start timing your self again. Absolutely brilliant!! The best ice packs I've ever used. My poor partner got gout for the first time and has been in agony with swelling to his foot (under and the top) the other ice packs were so uncomfortable and just cannot mold around the body. I got two of these so we could keep one in the freezer whilst the other is used and then swap over.. these get really cold and last a long time, we put it in a pillow case so there wasn't direct contact with skin and it was instant relief. They are really good at shaping around limbs and very soft and gentle. I suffer with several chronic illnesses and I often overheat and I used one of these under a sheet to help keep me cool and sleep well. Fantastic value and quality.

Item as described, amazing product, I’d be lost without it

I bought this for my mum who developed the condition the actual version which I bought was the half size one, which actually covers the whole knee from side to side. She had some gel packs given to by a chiropractor but one thing I noticed was that when in the freezer I did get rather stiff, this one however contains more gel than those cheap little things remains flexible despite the amount of time in the freezer. I mum so impressed with it is the belief that it gave her since it doesn't actually freeze cheaper gel packs but like a say remains flexible so it can mould itself to create a way to contact which is basically what you want a gel pack to do. Obviously you want coldness and whilst I can't comment about how long it takes the still pack to reach its maximum coldness, my mum says that she's been told to use it (ice pack) four no longer than 10 minutes at a time. I bought the first one is a trial, the trial did not last long, having been mother improved to 2nd one, if only so that is always one available a maximum coldness. If any insulator material trade-offs between how quickly you get cold and how quickly it gets warm i.e. absorbs heat, all I know is that my mum loves this product, I described this as 1/2 size gel pack but the other cheaper gel packs that my mum had once been context described 1/4, so I must comment that this is just the right size to wrap over the top and sides of the knee. I might also comment the yes it may have a maximum coldness, but you sometimes it's unhealthy to have something frozen on the flesh, this thing is just the right temperature for really cold but not feel uncomfortable. Like I said in the description "buy cheap by twice" , well It's a well-known adage but in this case you find a good product sometimes you depart twice - in my case it means that any point in time she will have a general pack available which is cooling down whilst the other one is warming up and only. Like I say she's been told only to use these gel packs but 10 minutes up to the time, she is looking into the timing between each gel pack, but with the second purchase I am happy to know that this is your way could have one in reserve in the freezer once one has got just 10 minutes. I hope that anyone can see that a verified purchaser, and I cannot speak more highly of this product, it really does contain gel that even in even in a freezer doesn't set solid and still remains it still state which allows maximum contact.

Wanted this item to help ease bad pain. The gel inside should make it easy to use and store in the freezer. It was lightweight and flexible, and I expect it should hold its cold temperature. But unfortunately had to return it. I purchased the half size, but the size description was wrong in cms. Hopefully the size description has been updated so other customers don't make the same mistake. Reordered it in the standard size.

Die Bewertung ist dieses Mal absolut unabhängig vom Preis zu sehen - zum Bewertungszeitpunkt war das Produkt nicht lieferbar und somit konnte ich keine Preise einsehen. Jeder kennt sie: Kühlpacks mit Gelfüllung, zumeist in bläulicher Füllung. Es gibt sie in quadratisch und rechteckig in unterschiedlichen Größen und Dicken. Mal bekommt man sie super günstig, mal als Dreingabe in der Apotheke mit einem eingelegten Werbeblatt im Gel, mal als teures Premiumprodukt mit besonders langanhaltender Wirkungsweise und robusterer Verarbeitung. Allen gleich ist: zunächst sind sie zu kalt und brauchen ein Stück Stoff zwischen der kühlenden Stelle und dem Kühlpack, zwischendrin sind sie perfekt direkt auf der Haut und dann sind sie zu warm und kommen wieder zurück in den Eisschrank. Sie sind nicht kuschlig, bequem, hübsch oder irgendetwas anderes als praktisch. Die FlexiKold Gel-Kühlakkus hier bieten eine angenehme Abwechslung: In Stofflagen eingenäht, rund und perfekt für kleinere Kühlstellen. Eine Seite ist mit kuschligem Flies und bietet eine perfekte Option, um anfänglich keine zu kühle Temperatur auf der Haut zu erreichen. Nach einer Weile dreht man das Kühlpad um und legt es auf. Perfekt auch für die Augen, wenn man an starken Kopfschmerzen oder Migräne neigt. Perfekt für die Kühlung von kleineren Stellen an den Händen oder dem Arm. Die Kühlpads sind also mit Abstand das Hochwertigste, was ich an Kühlpads bisher besessen habe. Das mitgelieferte Strap ist so lala, wenn man etwas monieren will. Bei mir hielt es irgendwie nicht so richtig fest und war je nach Einsatz auch etwas kurz. Da ist aber Klettverschluss artige Straps hier noch liegen habe zum einen keine wirkliche Einschränkung - zum zweiten lohnt sich oft die Anwendungszeit gegenüber einer selbsthaltenden Montage des Kühlpads in der Größenordnung nur bedingt. Fazit: insbesondere, wer sich immer schon mal hochwertige, kleinere Kühlpads gewünscht hat, wird diese lieben. Sie sind hochwertig verarbeitet und bieten neben dem Komfort tolle Kühlleistung. Natürlich sind sie kein Allheilmittel und oft auch nur für die kurzfristige Milderung der Symptome geeignet - aber es sind eben auch nur Kühlpads. Die Frage die bleiben könnte ist, wieviel man bereit ist, zusätzlich für diese Kühlpads auszugeben, aber das überlasse ich dem Käufer. Ich persönlich bin sehr zufrieden mit den Kühlpads.

Coge mucho frío en el congelador y aguanta tranquilamente media hora, tiempo más que suficiente para rebajar la inflamación. Lo compré para prevenir lesiones en el soleo y lo aplico después de correr, ya que es flexible y se adapta bien. Hasta ahora estoy contento con la compra.

Absolutely loved this when I had my knee replacement. They don’t freeze solid like ice and they can bend and mold to whatever you need. Totally recommend this and would totally buy it again. Good for anything!
