I was very skeptical, but this produces perfect al dente pasta, indistinguishable from boiled on the stove.I HATE using the stove. Rice cooker, egg cooker, crock pot... anything to not use the stove. I thought pasta was the ONE thing I could never do without the stove. And especially in the summer with a broken AC, standing over boiling steaming pasta is the worst. But im shocked. This truly makes perfect pasta! So easy!So far, the instructions have worked perfectly for me. They truly are al dente, so you might add just a minute.The strainer lid isnt very helpful, i still use a collander. But the measuring holes are good. Likewise, with a large moat like groove around the bottom, it isnt ideal for mixing macaroni sauce so I do have to dirty up another bowl. But not at all a big deal.Definitely wish I'd have gotten this years ago.

I have used a Fasta Pasta for over ten years and can't imagine cooking pasta any other way. It comes with a time guide for cooking thin spaghetti to various sizes of macaroni. you fill the cooker with cold water to the line per the number of servings, set the microwave per the chart. Worked perfectly first time I like my pasta softer so I added three minutes at the end. No huge pot! No huge colander! And just rinse off the plastic tub when you’re done! This is definitely a keeper!

This thing works exactly as promised for cooking pasta, but you might need a little bit of a trial and error period in order to get the right degree of doneness, especially if you’re cooking a large amount.

Is absolutely awesome, gets pasta el dante, no mess to clean up, excellent product, would buy again.

I use this almost daily. I really love it. It works perfectly. It works with all pastas. It actually is easier and faster and safer to make any pasta with this than any pot of water. I also make rice. I absolutely love it.

I bought this hoping it would save some time and dishes because my daughter is a pasta feen and would eat plan spaghetti noodles for every meal if I let her.Although it does work as described it’s not any faster whatsoever. The other downside that’s worth noting is that when you go to strain it, you have to hold the lid on and it’s hot AF so I’ve been burnt by scolding water once or twice doing this.Unless you don’t have a stove or cook top to cook pasta in a pot, I would not recommend this at all. It really doesn’t have any other advantages so for now I will be sticking to my boiling pot of water ☹️
