THEY ARE NOT AT ALL WATERPROOF, as advertised. After just 2 hours in the rain, all three layers of the gloves were soaked through with water to the point where it had puddled around my fingers. In cold temperatures, this was extremely dangerous. I lost feeling in my hands and had to have assistance removing my socks to use as mittens. I was very lucky that the rain did not continue, or else I very likely could have been seriously injured by these gloves. (This would be my size as a 5’8” woman) I am back buying the small for my younger son and the large for future growth. These gloves kept his hands warm and dry during a recent snow storm. Even when they got wet they dried quickly, which I cannot day for the gloves that my younger son wore that are still wet days later!
