I have some unoccupied, non combustible storage buildings that don't need fire protection, but my insurance company required them, this was the most bang for the buck. Brand is widely known, used, and respected. Perfect fit for the 7.13# kiddie extinguisher, easy to install

Excellent cabinets and good quality and they come individually packed. However... this is a flaw with these that they have everything in the box to install, But the brass padlocks and we had to go get those somewhere else separately and caused so much headache and delay!!! If the suppliers Do read this, it would help greatly to have the padlock included in the box too as a COMPLETE unit. Because now it is NOT and though a good box, it is just a frustration to have to go shop for the locks!

Great quality. Made out of metal. You need to provide your own padlock, so only you can access the fire extinguisher without breaking the glass. Comes with metal glass breaker that is not removable without breaking the glass. Has holes in back, so if your extinguisher came with a metal neck holder, the neck holder can be placed inside of here and screwed in, so that way your extinguisher 'floats' inside of the container instead of resting on the bottom. Very happy with the purchase and my handyman said this is a much better one than the other ones he has installed for clients.

Overall good. Can’t rate on the use though- lol. Hopefully don’t have to. Painted them red, wish they’d offer that color, seems like a good idea. Other than that- 5 stars for the low price and good quality unlike the expensive, price gauging major fire protection companies.

I was unable to find replacement parts so I bought 2 new Cabinets. I have 42 of these same cabinets at my marina. They are located on the Columbia River in Portland OR. They are exposed to heavy winds, rain and anything Mother Nature can throw at them. They were originally installed 22 years ago and all are still in place. My only complaint was that I needed parts and even the manufacturer did not respond to my requests for distributor information.

Glass broke immediately after opening in packaging.

It isn't expensive and it does exactly what it's supposed to. I bought this after some kids came into my cafe and decided that it would be fun to take an extinguisher and set it off into the rest of my cafe. This will be another level of deterrent. Ultimately, you can't stop people from being bad people but it's good to dissuade it as much as possible.

Store the fire extinguishers in my building.
