PERFECT camping fan
This little fan made ALL THE DIFFERENCE. Don't worry about the guy who said that the batteries are hard to get out...he must have had great big, clumsy man fingers. I had no problem at all. I left the set screw out, because trust me, that lid is NOT going anywhere. I can't tell you how long these last because I've only camped twice (total of 4 nights), but I've left them on HIGH all night long and they are still going strong. They are very quiet and produce an impressive amount of air movement considering that the fan was right next to my cot blowing directly on me. They fold up and pack easily. I'm glad I have these little fans. I've started using them at home too while I'm sitting outside under my pergola. Creates a nice breeze and blows the mosquitoes away.

Works for my family
This fan moves some air. It's no wind turbine but it does move air. Took it on a beach trip to cool my 9mos. Old baby while in the shade tent. I purchased 2, they worked perfect to give a small breeze and keep my baby comfortable. I also placed a cool towel on him so the breeze helped the cool towel. The hotter the air the closer you need to have it to you. But that's physic's not the fans fault. lol Good value for your money.

It is not rechargeable you use a standard 1.5v battery
This fan is a keeper. I have used several portables over the years but this one fills the bill just fine. I have tried it in the house just to make sure it lives up to it’s claim and it does.If you are a white noise seeker then pass this one by as it only produces a very subdued fan sound. The battery compartment is a little difficult to use because it does not open fully at least on the two that I purchased I do, at times, have to rotate the batteries in their compartment to get the fan to start but once it starts it runs just fine.If you are half asleep and want to move or adjust it, feel safe because the blades are covered both front and back with a grill that even looks to keep little fingers away from moving parts. The air flow is noticeable up too 2-1/2 feet with the expected decrease in flow that should be expected. I imagine myself waking up early in the morning and cutting the fan to low to prevent it from blowing moist tent air in my face. This action is easy to do with the simple slide switch on the side. All in all a good little tent fan that I would recommend to family or friends and would purchase again when I wear them out.UPDATE: ran the unit for 38 continuous hours on high speed and the fan could still be felt 24” away and was still kicking. Looks to be an ideal personal tent fan.

OK, it’s Cool
When you see this fan, you immediately wonder how long will it last. It diesn’t look like it’s made well. It is plastic! We have owned it about a month now and it’s great. What I find surprising is how little ng the batteries are lasting. I thought we would have replaced them by now. It’s been a very hot summer, and although our ac works great, at times it’s nice to have a little more air circulation. We were so pleased with this we bought a second one. I use it in the bathroom while showering and the humidity can feel uncomfortable and this fan adds a nice comfort level.I still worry about the longevity but for the price, why worry about it...I would replace it in a heart beat if it ever fails.

Quiet, compact, and cordless
(Update)I've been using this for a couple of months and I think it's a little champion. I use it often and it has been running forever on the batteries I originally put in. I've even accidentally left it on over night a couple of times. This is a great little fan at a sweet little price.I like this modest battery operated fan. The blades are narrow; they don't provide a strong air current. In other words, it's designed to use in close proximity. I set mine on my desk two feet away from my face. I especially like how quiet it is. It's lightweight (1 lb) and compact. It requires two D batteries (not included). There are two speeds. It doesn't have a power cord or a usb charging port. It's solely battery powered sans cords and its simplicity is what sold me. It's practical and it works. I'm glad I have it.

Very quiet, and its aim is true.
The required two D batteries add the weight and balance this fan needs to stay in place on your desk. The body of the fan is 6" by 6.5" so it is larger than 5" fan itself. The fan can be adjusted by clicking the base until the air flow is at the exact angle you prefer. There are two settings to the fan, but they seem pretty close to the same speed. The fan is steady on its base, and incredibly quiet. So quiet in fact, that I have accidentally left it on overnight a couple of times. To my amazement it is still running on the same two D batteries I installed initially.Moving air from the fan goes exactly where you have it aimed.I keep the fan on a raised surface of about three inches, so there is absolutely no problem with it disturbing the papers on my desk. There is nothing like moving air on your face to help you keep cool on hot days, and this little fan performs its job perfectly.

Sweetheart!!
Its a great lil' fan. Ran my Mr. Heater Portable heater on floor in back my truck canopy [topper]. The inside top of topper got VERY hot. Had heater in front, pointed towards tailgate. Set the fan on top of ice cooler against tailgate; blowing towards heater, BUT Not into heater. [A little higher].Was like a miracle! Ceiling did not get hot at all. Also distributed heat inside almost perfectly even. Temp inside topper was same temp all around. Ran my heater even less; & No 'hot spots'. After reached a comfy temp, turned heater off. Found by trial & error... that once got temp @ comfort zone; could just leave pilot light on heater run. This fan will save me lots of propane- I'm sure. It also came w/ an AC adapter. I'm sure I could cut off adapter, & install plug for vehicle cig lighter, or USB plug. I:E: This little fan was a win/ win situation. Gonna' purchase another for "backup". Also very quiet, w/ hair of pleasant 'white noise'. I always love sleep w/ pleasant 'white noise'. Its my little sweetheart!

Necessary for camping in the heat!
Brought one of these fans with us camping to try and keep our 4 month old baby cool. Good thing as we had a great wave and this little fan was the reason we didn't have to cancel and head home early. It is quiet and compact but puts out a surprising amount of air. The battery life really exceeded my expectations too as we did two seperate four day trips and ran the fan a lot, overnight in some cases, and still haven't needed to replace the batteries. I thought this was a bit silly to buy at the time but am so glad we have it now.Objectively speaking it is a cheap plastic fan. The grills are a bit flimsy so a motivated toddler can get his fingers in there but there's really no hazard. The switch and hinge feel cheap but we have been gentle with it and have had no issues. It's about what I'd expect for the money so can't complain. Would definitely buy it again!

Great Little Fan!!
This is one of those 'take your chances' orders, according to the mixed reviews and ratings but I've had it for about a month now and have been using it every night. I changed ONE battery (that came with it) in that month. Considering it runs for 8 hours a night, not too bad at all. And one of the most important features for me is this little thing is SO quiet!! It has two settings - high and low - and it is very quiet on both. It is small enough to sit on the window sill or is very unobtrusive on a night table. So far, great little purchase. Quite happy with it.....especially for the price.

Not what I ordered!
What I ordered was 4 of the O2Cool fans because I had ordered one Previously and loved it. Very quiet. But when I reordered what I got was Treva fans. Hate them - noisy. Not impressed ! if vendor didn’t have the ones I ordered shouldn’t they have asked if I wanted a substitute?
