The build layer of skin and residue from other soaps/lotions was immediately gone. My upper arms, where I have kp, felt softer and the rough bumpy skin was gone. I put my lotion on after using it in the shower and my skin actually absorbed the lotion (like it's supposed to)!!! I have used it on my face 1x/week and it's amazing! Three weeks now and the red bumps from kp are almost gone, my skin is soft and smooth, any residue build up is gone and my body's natural pH is back!!! And just better. *by A***Y on June 1, 2016* I have had 'problem skin' since I was a teen, and have gone through multiple medical approaches from antibiotics through Accutane with painful side jaunts with Retinols, and have spent more money than I care to think about on products targeted for people like me - moderate to severe persistent acne, oily skin, T-zone troubles, etc. Athough some medications worked, the side effects did not make them long term solutions for me. All of them left me with dry, peeling, and unhealthy looking skin, all natural moisture whisked away, my skin parched but not noticeably clearer. I spent even more on foundation and coverup, but when you have pimples large enough to cast a shadow, there is only so much makeup can do. I saw this product and read the reviews and thought why not at least try it. I too had changed my diet, gone to natural whole foods, cut out sugary, processed products and sodas, and although my weight went down, sadly my acne outbreaks did not. I have been using this Dead Sea Mud soap bar for 10 days, and I am already seeing improvement in my skin texture and, well, topography. I still have pimples, but they are fewer and smaller than before, and are clearing up more quickly than I would have though possible. The experience of washing my face with this soap is almost luxurious, the lather is soft, silky and fragrant. It leaves my skin feeling a little dry, but unlike all the harsh cleansers, toners and exfoliating scrubs I have used in the past, not stripped. Even if I do not follow up with moisturizer, the dryness fades as my skin comes back into balance leaving my face feeling soft and looking better than it has in recent memory.
