Amazing Backpacking and Camping Pillow!
This Inflatable Pillow is amazing! I have been using it for once a month camping trips for over 2 years now and it still works perfectly. It takes less than a minute to get it set up and only a few breaths to inflate. You can adjust the firmness of the pillow to your liking based on how much you inflate it. Also, it is a super comfortable pillow for camping and way better than just bringing a bed pillow on a Camping Trip. We used this pillow for a Backpacking Trip to Philmont Scout Ranch, and it held up great during a weeklong trek. It took up almost no space and was super lightweight and easy to use. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is considering purchasing a Camping Pillow.

Many uses!
So I purchased this inflatable pillow for my trip to Belize. First I used it on the airplane as a lumbar support pillow. I love the fact that you can inflate it as much as you want to make it comfortable. It was easy to inflate and deflate and it's extremely compact and fit with my other stuff that I use when flying into my backpack. When I was in Belize, I also use this pillow as a pillow that goes in between my legs when I lay on my side like I do at home. I also used it as a regular pillow for my head at some times. And now I'm using it as a cushion under my butt to sit on. My tailbone is bruised and this is making it a lot more comfortable for me to sit. Especially on plastic chairs that are outside. It definitely holds its air if you make sure the insert is correct and closed all the way. This thing is an absolute necessity for me and I've just ordered another one from them. We can keep these in our vacation condo that will compact so small so we can store them in our owners closet. We love the softness in the durability.

Good pillow for the price
I purchased this to include in a mid-price light-weight backpacking kit (as one of the budget pieces), and after a season of use I am satisfied with it. The material is slightly stretchy which is good for providing some extra softness after being inflated. The outer fabric and feel is relatively comfortable, even without a cover. The valves are robust and are equipped with a one-way-flow toggle, which allows for easy inflation and deflation. The included button-secured strap, along with the stippled grippy bottom texture, keep the pillow well secured to my sleeping pad throughout the night. Since it packs small and only takes a few breaths to inflate, I keep it in the pouch on the waist belt of my backpack and additionally use it as a sitting pad during down time. Ultimately it fits well within my kit and, while it may not have some features expected from high-end options (like an included cover, added insulation, or ultra-light design), it is likely to satisfy the needs of most who are looking for a convenient and comfortable light-weight option for a camping pillow. Notes: I am a middle-aged slim-built side sleeper who has a lot of discomfort during sleep in general. This pillow gives me a fair night of sleep given the general rough conditions involved in camping and backpacking. It was a bit cheaper when I purchased it (around $13) but I would probably think it was a good option even at the current price of $19.99.

Pillow Talk
First of all, my confessions: I'm a sleeping snob. Not a snob when I'm asleep, but a snob about my sleeping arrangements. I've lived in three countries and eight states; I've slept in a LOT of beds (I could tell you stories of bedbugs, mice, cockroaches, termites, bats, racoons, diesel fuel, stone pillows, worn out springs, protruding springs, no springs, short beds, beds so narrow that two people had to sleep in opposite directions to fit...you get the picture). Now at the beginning of my 7th decade, I've a routine I follow when I sleep. But the weak link in all of this is, you guessed it, since I am reviewing this item, the pillow. Long story short, the wife and I were planning a trip to Aruba last month and I knew I didn't want to spend five nights on hotel pillows. Neither did I have room to take my home pillow. So...off to Amazon I went armed with my encyclopedic knowledge of my sleeping habits. After looking at a lot of 'em, I ordered this one in orange. Why orange? Who knows, except that I felt I needed a little excitement in my life. (I once observed my dad in the garage changing the oil in the car. Funny thing, he had all the oil cans, when oil still came in cans, upside down. I asked him about this and he replied with a sheepish grin, "Just needed a bit of excitement.") I read some of the reviews and looked at the pictures and thought, "This just might work." Plus, it was deflatable and weighed so little and wrapped up so compactly, that I ordered it. Fast forward to Aruba. I stripped one of the hotel pillows of its case, inflated my new pillow, put it in the case, and proceeded to get comfortable. Some of the reviews indicated that you might have to adjust the air volume to get it just the way you wanted it, and sure enough, after about three changes, I felt like I had it about right. And I slept well. For five nights. When I got home, yes, again you guessed it, I replaced my home pillow with this little slumber number. I've been sleeping on it since. It hasn't lost air and gives me better support than other pillows. I don't know how much more convincingly I can recommend this little orange pillow than to tell you I'm using it at home instead of using the others I own. I sleep better, I am master of its height and support, and its shape cradles my head unlike any other pillow I've used. Can't beat that for $17. Now some notes. 1) There IS a learning curve to the valve. Press it one way and you inflate it. Press it the other and the valve opens and it deflates. I can't help wondering if some of the reviewers that claimed it lost air hadn't mastered the valve. Or maybe there's a tiny hole in the pillow. Or maybe the valve's defective. It happens. Personally, I haven't noticed any change in volume since I blew it up the first night back from the Caribbean, so I think I've learned the valve technique. 2) There is a better way to deflate it to get all but a few molecules of air out of it. Well...maybe all but a few more than a few. Open the valve and start from the opposite end by rolling it up tightly like an oversized straw. Then unroll it. Or not. You'll get a flat-as-a-pancake, actually a flatter-than-a-pancake, (or an oversized straw) pillow that'll slip into any ol' place in your luggage. 3) It IS smaller that regular pillows. So...if you're a big pillow guy or gal, you probably won't like it. 4) I tried using it on the airplane coming back to the US, and it's just not a plane pillow. I finally tried placing it on the seat back tray and laying down on it. But you know how little room we regular Joes and Joanns get in boarding group 5. It didn't work. But, hey, it isn't made to be a plane pillow, so I'm ok with that. I'll sum it up. A good pillow, even if you only use it for camping or trips. A good price. A good structure for head support. It has some little dots on it that prevent it from sliding around if you don't use a pillow case. It comes with a tote bag (though why you'd want to use it is beyond me when you can get it so flat when deflating) and a strap that I think is supposed to be wrapped around a sleeping bag to keep your pillow from moving at night on slippery fabric. I can adjust it however I want, so it isn't a one-size-fits-all sort o' thing. And, oh, it's orange; but the teal's nice, too.

This pillow is world-class! I bought 4 different pillows to try out; A Sea-to-Summit Aeros Ultralight pillow, which is highly rated all over the internet, the more premium Sea-to-Summit Aeros Down pillow, the HIKENTURE pillow and this one. This one beats them on all fronts: - comfort is excellent, both when inflated completely or just partly - noise is almost non-existing. The HIKENTURE was by far the most noisy, but the Sea-to-Summit Aeros Down didn't do much better. - it packs almost as small as the Sea-to-Summit Aeros Ultralight pillow, yet it is 1.5x the size when inflated Highly recommended!

Packs down very small and is very light. Easy to adjust to exactly the right amount of air with the clever valve. Takes me 4 breaths to fully inflate.

Extremely small compact pillow that is blown up in 10 seconds, which is also very comfortable!
