Review: Fun beach toy once you learn how to throw it - Our kids saw one of these at the beach a few years ago and were fascinated by it, so I finally remembered to buy one before our most recent beach trip. All three of our kids (ages 5, 8, and 11) took turns playing with it throughout the day. It kept them entertained on and off between swimming and other beach activities. There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to throwing it just right so that it rides the waves and comes back to you. A: Yes, but you need to make the waves by splashing or jumping in

A: The surf board on the toy is about 12-13 inches long and the width is about 4 inches.   The surfer dude stands about 6-7 inches high.  They are lots of fun for children at the beach!  Adults like them also.

My Grandson LOVED this! He’s 2 1/2 and it kept him busy! PIcking up and throwing . I highly recommend. I loved they had different colors and designs my daughter ended up buying a girl & boy for the other 2 grands.
