I like this book very much and will certainly use this in the future.

Really really wanted to love this book because the designs look great and I thought being able to do borders 'all in one' was a potential timesaver. However, the patterns are impossible to follow. They are split up into different sections which make them difficult to memorise and there is a lot of turning about in the middle of the rows. I found a few mistakes - the number of stitches didn't always match the pattern repeats and one pattern told you what to do at the end of the row but not what to repeat or when! I am experienced and write patterns so can get through most books with a bit of concentration but this one has mostly beaten me. A shame - it could have been terrific. Finally, just for info, the terminology is USA standard. Some conversion is required for the UK.

Often I find when I've finished crocheting a blanket it just needs a little something and this book has it, lots of styles and designs to make, I'm looking forward to trying them all, great but, highly recommend.
