Good Product; Build to Last
Been using these for a long time now. The build quality is excellent and it doesn't squeeze or hurt my hand. Just to note though, I bought these for regular home use.

Have held up very nicely!
I've had these scoops for a few months now and they've given me zero problem. I do use a little WD-40 on the gears after they've gone through the dishwasher a couple times. That's just to keep them running smoothly. I use the large one several times a day to portion out home-made dog food. That stuff is thick and heavy refrigerated oatmeal, meat and vegetables. I was using a stainless steel half-cup measuring cup, but the handle kept bending because the vat of dog food is so dense and heavy. Plus, I was using a spatula or my finger to help scoop it out of the measuring cup. The trigger release is really nice in this respect. It also works great on frozen ice cream, too. I have always put the cartons in the microwave for about 10 seconds to soften the ice cream first, but thats just habit. The smaller ones are great for measuring cookie dough and especially cake pops if you're into that sort of thing.

Lightweight, but works well.
Not as heavy duty as I would have liked (I definitely wouldn't use them for ice cream), but they seem to work well for my cookies/cupcakes baking application. Used the medium size to put heaping portions of sweet potato pie cupcake batter in standard liners - perfect, uniform portions. I can see the large size being used for the larger muffin/cupcake pans, and the small one for cookies. Easy to clean if rinsed before batter dries, otherwise I think you'd have to soak it before washing.

The perfect cookie scoop!
I've only used the medium and small sized cookie scoops so far, but they really are just perfect for portioning just the right amount of dough for the cookies I make. The handles are really comfortable in my hand and that's saying a lot because I have smaller hands and a lot of the other scoops I've tried are just cumbersome. I also have RA so the "ease of the squeeze" is also very important to me. I didn't experience any issues with the dough or scoop sticking or the scoops not expelling all of the dough. I've used them several times now and they've held up nicely. I recently made 6 dozen cookies and I was able to get them done quickly, efficiently and without causing a great deal of pain to my hands. I personally choose to hand wash them, although it says they're dishwasher safe, and they're quick and easy to clean especially if you have a bottle brush. I think these are great kitchen tools and would consider giving the set as part of a baking themed gift.

Not very sturdy
Used it for scooping cookie dough and the sliding part inside the scoop sticks. Had to keep manually spreading the handle apart

Why did I wait so long?
I've always considered cookie scoops when I've made drop cookies but, once they were baked, it seemed unnecessary. Finally I ordered a set and made cookies immediately. All of my oatmeal raisin cookies are the same size (just like from a bakery), there was no going back and forth with two spoons or adding a little bit here and there once on the baking sheet - it was SO simple. Now I'm looking forward to using the small and large ones. It was sturdy and clean up was a snap. There may be more cookies coming out of my kitchen. As well as muffins, cupcakes, deviled eggs, meatballs...

Malfunctioned in first use. Would not buy.
I used these to scoop out uniform amounts of chocolate chip cookie dough (dough was room temp so it was pretty soft) but during the first use, the part that scoops the cookie out of the cup would skip, stripping the gears that make this functional. I would be able to move it back to its correct position but you do that a few times, and it just completely strips the gears to the point that it’s impossible to use, even when going extremely slowly. Any pressure against the swinging portion would make it malfunction and look like it does in the picture. Sometime, it comes out halfway so it’s perpendicular to the rest of the scoop. The metal gears are made from VERY CHEAP metal/alloy/whatever so it breaks easily. I ended up putting plastic wrap in the scoop, scooping dough, then using the edge of something to bang it against so the cookie flies out. Will be looking into other models. It’s cheap and there’s a reason why.

This product arrived just as advertised, in excellent condition in a very timely manner.
These scoops will be very useful in so many things, but one of my specialties is cookies. They provide an economical way to scoop dough in equal portions for each cookie. This avoids mess, loss, waste, and ensures that the end result looks uniform and professional. I love these scoops! Ideal too for fruit (melons) in fruit salad, macaroni salad, pasta salad, tuna salad, egg salad, and mashed potatoes! I am sure that there are even more uses that I haven't found yet!

Set of 3 scoops
I was pleased to find a set of 3 scoops as I use them for baking cookies and needed different sizes. Unfortunately one of the scoops has already broken so I’m a little disappointed. The other 2 are still going strong and are the perfect size for what I need. They are a little fiddly to clean but overall, a good addition to the kitchen.

Disappointed in quality
Higher expectations based on pictures that looked like "baker quality" scoops. Not the case when they arrived. Says, 18 stainless steel (not thinking so) feels thin & tinny. Let's hope they last, not baker quality that is for sure.
