Tina Turner - One Last Time: Live in Concert

Tina Turner is the Best, as she sings Simply the Best and other favorites from selected songs from several shows through the years. My two faves are a David Bowie duet singing Tonight…and a Brian Adam’s duet. Tina was so filled with joy hosting talented friends. When I look at the sea of fans, I tell myself I have the best seat…letting the camera men capture the show. Tina gave so much during her shows….and I rejoice in her special gifts. Missing her, but happy to have her DVDs.

Love every thing about this DVD. When it was on PBS I saved it in order to see it often. Now that I have the DVD I don't have the pledge breaks and also the complete concert. This is a concert she gave before retiring. She is fabulous, hasn't lost a step. If you are a Tina fan, I really think you will enjoy this concert.

After viewing this final concert by Tina Turner, I must confess that the old girl still has it. In fact, I would go on to say that Tina was better in this concert than previous ones I have seen. Her departure from the music world will leave us, her fans, with a nagging sense of nostalgia for many years to come.This begs the question: Why do we lose the really good ones to death or retirement so soon? Michael Jackson, Barry White, Elvis Presley, Cher, Tina Turner, the Eagles, Teddy Pendergrass, Albert King, Albert Collins, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and others, have left the active scene presently, so we'll have to suffice with the music they left behind and pine for them in loving memories. Good show Tina. Thank you Amazon.com for your excellent service. I could not find this DVD in the city where I live, and would have had to look high and wide around the world to find it, if I wouldn't have had Amazon.com to rely on. My hat's off to you guys!

I love this concert! Tina Turner is by far the greatest entertainer in the music. Her backup dancers and the backup singers are talented. The band are outstanding. What a great performance. I Love Tina Turner.

A fine concert.

Tina Turner is almost 80 and long since retired, but this video of her iconic concert at Wembley Stadium in London in 2000 brings it all back. I saw her twice over the years, and she burned up the stage, just like she did at this concert. An amazing performer. I'm so glad we have recordings like this so we won't forget how good she was. Her big hits are all there, including Proud Mary, What's Love Got to Do With It, Simply the Best and Private Dancer. The stage production, with dancers and musicians who really get into the beat, is top-notch. A joy to watch.

I have a fairly nice system in my home. Four 15" subs and two Klipsch Towers. System sounds great and I buy a lot of concert DVD's etc. but the audio *which was touted in reviews" was a huge let down. Large arena andmostly what I heard was the audience. There are a LOT if Rock DVD's out there that sound great, one of them being Chris Isaakon Soundstage. Certainly just my opinion but I DO buy a LOT of DVD's.

Hammer Konzert, Bildqualität lässt zu wünschen übrig. Fehlfarben und unscharfe Umrisse. Sehr schade.

ティナの旧譜を聴いていて過去自分がアメリカとフランスで見たライブが懐かしくなり購入。これは２１世紀にはいってからウエンブリースタジアム（豪気！）で行った公演だが相変わらずの聴き手をつかむシャウトと魅せるショーマンシップが見れて楽しかった。オープニングにスライの「テイクユーハイヤー」とはやってくれる！カバー曲のアレンジはちょっとさっぱり気味でしたが．．．無論、寄る年波の片鱗もあり、ちょっと体のキレは鈍った観が、そしてお疲れ気味の顔を見せることもある。それでも広大な会場全体に目で訴え・時に巧みに煽り・そしてしんみり聴かせる歌いっぷりはどれを取ってもスターそのもの。また観客の年齢層・人種が幅広いのは彼女の欧州での支持層の厚さを物語っている。確かに、彼女の歌聴くとテンション自然に上がるもんね。最近アメリカの市民権を放棄してスイスに永住する模様、その華麗な人生のスピードを徐々に落とし始めたようだけど、もう１度ライブみたい！

圧倒されます！他の方も褒めていられますが、圧巻！の一言。日本のシンガーでは味わえないライブの醍醐味が最初から最後まで愉しめます。ジャンルを問わず、全ての音楽ファンに！！
