Always preferred L&P as my Beef Marinade/Sauce
I always have enjoyed L&P's American Version which is considered a Burger Booster and I use it for stews, steak, and as advertised; to boost my burgers. It was recently discovered that there is an actual Original Worcestershire Sauce was still being sold to Worcestershire, UK and we get some kind of Americanized version because we need to be cheap. For not much more than what was spent on the American Version- I got to have the real version. I find it personally superior in every way (As I do with Mexican Coke). It is slightly sweeter but finishes Spicier than the American one. They both do have about the same texture. The real version looks more genuine in it's labeling considering that it is addressed to Her Majesty (So , it better be good). If you like the American Version- You will like this one but feel like you have a little more Class.

The Real McCoy!
This is the real stuff! Very Happy with everything about this purchase. Not only was it packaged perfectly, it was also received faster than many items that I've bought from the USA. Amazing, since this was shipped from Worcestershire, England. There is no doubt that this taste better than the products made in the USA. Don't get me wrong. The stuff made in the USA is still better than other brands. But, like so many things. The type of ingredients do make a huge difference to me. Kinda like Mexican Coke made with cane sugar tastes differently than the american corn sugar version. Some people just can't taste the difference. My daughter and I can. Malt Vinegar made from Barley tastes different than distilled white vinegar. You can't argue that point! Cane sugar tastes better than corn syrup. If you have good taste buds, you owe it to yourself to try the "real mccoy".The seller is "on the ball"I'm buying more. 😋

Really good....but
This sauce is 'better" than the US version; not overwhelmingly, but somewhat. It has more umami, likely due to the many vinegar, at least in large part. But I use a LOT of Wor-sauce when I marinate and this just isn't available by the gallon - or if it is, I can't afford it. This is pricey and maybe worth it for special occasions, but not daily cooking.

Worth every penny
This was exactly what I remembered in smell and flavour from the UK. The real thing has a much more complex aroma and taste. The one shipped to me was shipped from Ireland, wrapped well, came quickly and undamaged. We certainly shall be buying it here!

No corn syrup
I've always preferred the general flavor of the Lea and Perrins brand Worcestershire sauce to other brands, but I've found that I react to corn syrup so had to find an alternative. I found out that the Worcestershire sauce distributed by Lea and Perrins in other countries use sugar instead, so I ordered this from Canada and (separately) a "special edition" from England. All three taste very similar: almost identical. But at a more discerning level the US sauce is "brash", the Canadian sauce is "smooth" and the special edition sauce is "smooth and rich". So there IS a difference, but you might or not taste it depending upon what you're using it in or on.I annually use very little Worcestershire sauce, so have decided to stock the special edition -- so that when I do use it I'm using the best-tasting (albeit most expensive) variant. But if I used a lot annually I'd stock the Canadian variant which is between the other two in price.

Worcestershire in its original form
I love Worcestershire in bloody Marys and marinades but I also prefer malt vs white vinegar which the UK version uses. If you like the taste of malt vinegar then try this.

The Real Lea & Perrins made in England
A few years ago I noticed the American Lea & Perrins seemed to of have lost much of its flavor, or just plain watered down. After seeing a show on BritBox about how and where real Lea & Perrins is made, I found it on Amazon. In the bottle with the orange label. Yes, a little more money, but you get what you pay for. This has the quality and flavor your recipes call for. It was packed well, shipped quickly, and arrived when expected.

Not worth the extra cost
The British version does taste different, but I prefer the home grown version. However, the cap on the local version allows the sauce to dribble down the bottle after using and the different cap on the British version does not. Go figure. I just use it on my scrambled eggs to kill that egg taste. On popcorn??? Yikes.
