I didn't expect it to be very big but WOW it's tiny. Wish it would have been a tad bigger. But the quality is there. It's very heavy for it's size and came well packaged

Bought this with a gift card as a birthday present. This isn’t made clear in the description, but this thing is tiny. I’ll keep it bc it is decent quality, but it’s about half the size I expected, maybe 2.5 inches

Looks great online. Arrived broken and had to return it. Don't feel it is quite worth the money had it been intact. No problem with return however.

A real theodolite is about as big as a bowling ball; this trinket is a little larger than a baseball, and the compass doesn't really work either. It's too small to take any meaningful measurements. The description should do a better job of communicating that it is decorative, not functional. I was buying this as a Father's Day gift for someone who used to work with the real thing, so it was a bit disappointing to see the tiny package at the door. I guess it's better than nothing, but I really did want to find the real thing.

This item was purchased as a Christmas gift for someone special. It is an amazing item. Loved it.
