Like setting up times that devices can use the internet, etc?** A: I think you are referring to MAC Address Filtering, usually used to block wireless devices from even being able to get anywhere near your network (theoretically). I have this same router but V1 and while it used to be called MAC filtering, over the past updates they for some reason made it extremely difficult to find. If this V2 is like my updated V1, it will be called Wireless Card Access List, and it can be found under the Advanced tab, under the categories below that called Advanced Setup and under Wireless Settings. At the bottom of Wireless Settings you will see Wireless Card Access List, there click the button showing Set Up Access List. It's tricky to use. If you have Turn Access Control On checked, then unless that MAC address is on that list, it won't be able to even try to connect and you won't see it attempting. As long as you have the MAC address from the wifi device then this being ON is find and you can proceed to add it to the list. If you don't know the MAC you may need to uncheck that box and go out and back into the router for the list to update and it show you the MAC to the device you are trying to add. Not idea but a work around. Like I said, for some reason Netgear made MAC Address Filtering way too difficult. Maybe the V2 is completely different than this, but I'd imagine it's the same sadly.
