New Roman Missal in Latin and English.

A comprehensive book on the TLM. Anyone who is looking to deepen one's understanding and appreciation of Holy Mass and the spiritual realities and graces it brings should consider getting this Missal. This Missal comes with an explanation of the Mass and an exhortation on the importance of the Mass to our predecessors and why we should regain this lost reverence and ardent desire for the Mass. It also comes with helpful and beautiful illustrations and has a section on the 40 hour devotion. I'm glad I made this purchase. It comes with sewn bindings and the quality of the book is very good. It is very hard to find this where I'm from and I'm very blessed to have obtained one to help me grow in my spiritual journey.

The Missal is delivered in a bubble wrap style envelope, and the product is shrink wrapped, there is no box. Missal is wonderful. I own the 1962 Missal also, and even though I attend N.O. masses, I love to refer to these old Missals for personal devotion. Missal is leather bound (or simulated leather, cant tell, although it smells like leather), has 6 ribbon markers. The mass has rubrics in red, there is also a table on page 72 on when to sit/stand/kneel in a TLM. There is also a detailed glossary of Mass terms at the end, loaded with many illustrations throughout the Missal. I love this Missal, the only difference in liturgy that I can see is that some of the readings for Holy Week. If you own the 1962 Missal, make sure you add this one also (1945 Missal).

Well im thrilled to add this missal to the shelf! Im rather a neophyte catholic, but I had already acquired Fr. Lasance's "blessed sacrament prayerbook" a truly encyclopedic thick miniature phonebook, with prayers not found in many publications, outside of Liturgy of the Hours. All of these prayer books and missals are expensive, and they are worth every penny. Built to outlive you, im sure. Sure would like to see the New Roman Missal in large print. It would definitely sell! The 1962 roman missal by Baronius press, and Angeles press have a large print and its quite popular. While we're at it, lets include St. Andrew's 1945 missal for a reprint. Thats my wish list! Keep them coming!

Why is the father Lance missile the best I’ve known? First it is a comprehensive volume of all the readings and a clear exposition of the right that is easy to follow from week to week. The propers from all other feast days of the year are easy to find. Beautiful binding and print.

This Missal has all the prayers in LATIN AND ENGLISH, SIDE BY SIDE, for the Liturgical Year. It is very well organized for easy access. You can use the ribbon dividers to mark The ORDINARY OF THE MASS, The PROPER OF THE SEASON, The PROPER OF THE SAINTS and The COMMON OF THE SAINTS. The Ordinary Prayers have a larger font size and are on thicker paper. There is a section following the introduction entitled "READ MASS WITH THE PRIEST" which is A STUDY GUIDE that illustrates all the stages of the Liturgy in great detail. The Guide also shows you how the Missal is organized and how to use the Missal effectively. The Guide also shows the Sacred Vestments used by the priest along with how the Altar Area and Table are organized with all the Sacred Elements and their Significance. There is even a table that shows you when to SIT, STAND, and KNEEL. The Missal has illustrations, throughout, that describe all the PRAYERS, BLESSINGS And GESTURES of the Priest and the appropriate response of the Laity. Lovely Missal

I bought two more of these books as gifts. This book is a good collection of study guide and lovely pictures which are helpful to any newbie of the traditional mass. The paper quality is good and thicker for the main mass proceedings section. Wish there was a larger font version with bigger spacings at the centre spine for easier readability without bending the book too much. Longer ribbons, please, especially the black one? Thanks.

Easy to follow, I go to an sspx mass and even though most people tend to use the 1962 missal i found this one much better, the pages are thicker and the readings for each mass are there for that day, so you only have to flip between the ordinary of the mass and the readings for that day, the only thing for me would be if it was a little bigger.
