This was easy to install with the included instructions, fits perfectly (snug), and looks great. The rail is surprisingly long so it provides lots of options for optics. Now I need to decide on a short range scope or a red dot.

Easy to install. Works great so far. Also great that you can add a rail on either side.

I put it on a mil spec IBM. Well it fit and gave it a modern cool look but thats about it. I was supper excited at the mail box over several months ordering it and later the side picatinny rails. The last thing I ordered was the scout scope. 50 yards and two boxes of ammo later I discovered it was bouncing around from the shock because it is really only mounted from the front of the mount to the weapon. I chased the bulls eye all over the target adjusting the scope to get little movement but it was not the scope that was moving. After field stripping and making sure all the hardware did not come loose I squeezed the rear of the mount and the barrel and discovered it had movement. Disappointed because I liked it I was thinking of just keeping it for the looks but without an optic it really blocks the front iron sight. So whats the point? My opinion, save your money and get a Sage EBR Chassis the picatinny mounts on the barrel and to the rear sight dove tail.
