It is the best hoop nose ring I have ever purchased and I've had my nose pierced for 10 years. The reason I love it so much is because of the tiny hinge which makes it a million times easier to insert and remove than most nose rings. It's just perfect. The seams are really smooth and do not hurt my nose when they pass through. Instead, I have always had to suffer with closing my earring with a round ball. If I wanted to play with my earring by spinning it around my earlobe, I would get stopped by the ball keeping it closed. No longer do I have that problem with this new earring. I can play with it now by spinning it around and around until I am content. Forwards or backwards or twisting it side to side, I am amused for hours now.It is made of surgical steel which is important as I work in the medical field and frequently pass by the MRI machine. The last thing I would want is to have my earring tear through my earlobe at 200mph and then being a bullet destroying a 12 million dollar machine.I love this new earring. It was great. Until nearly 24 hours of wearing it, my nose started hurting. I cleaned it and turned it and everything. An hour later it was still hurting and was getting worse. Eventually it got pusy and red and inflamed. I had went to a water park so I thought the chlorinated water was what aggravating it. Come to find out it was the metal of the hoop I was allergic to.
