Yes I can highly recommend it!!
I just recently tried it on a porthouse steak. I lightly coated both sides of it. I put a little olive oil in a cast iron very hot metal skillet. Since I love my red meats rare, after resting it. I took a bite out of it and found myself very pleasantly surprised!😍😋

Far from my favorite.
This is not a very good flavor for beef. I will not buy it again. It was delivered fairly quickly and was well packed.

Great for prime rib
I have used this for the last couple years on our Christmas prime rib and it is delicious.

Excellent rub base for prime rib!
I used this rub along with some of my own additives. The taste was great and my prime rib looked awesome. I recommend this for anyone doing a prime rib or anyone who likes to put a rub on some thick cut steaks.

Beware
I would give zero stars if possible. The container was busted and the seasoning spilled everywhere when I pulled it out of the bag.

JBs rub is definitely one of the best .
I always try to keep JBs dry rub stocked in my spice cabinet. It's definitely one at the top of our list of 5-6 dry rubs for smoking, grilling even seasoning vegetables with. Always helps these days getting every little discount offered by Amazon to save money also . Thank you Amazon.
