It's simple to use. Push down slowly. Comes out fine. I 100% recommend this product

Yes, it can be used as a mug. The filter will need to remain in place so the lid will seal properly. I use mine quite often like that.

It's designed and developed by Defiance Tools in Orlando, FL and made in China. We are a husband and wife team and we source the manufacturing of our products around the world. Unfortunately, for this type of product there are not any manufacturers in the USA that we have found.

Q: This looks like a great product, but I’m wondering if the flip top lid goes all the way back? Seems like it might get it the way

The flip top doesn't go all the way back, but it's not a problem if you use this product as intended. I'd assumed this was a French press/travel mug combo when I bought it, but it is not. It's a French press/thermos. It keeps my coffee nice and hot and then I pour what I want to drink into my coffee mug. I tend to drink my coffee slowly, so it's been great to be able to sip a little coffee at a time and then pour some more hot coffee into my cup. It stays hot in the thermos for over an hour.
